We went here two years ago and the food was fresh and value for money and of course the aquarium was a great feature. Unfortunately the aquarium is under construction and is closed until 2017... They have however not reduced the price! The food tasted stale and was not fresh especially the crab and seafood. There was pork belly but... More

They have a nightly Seafood buffet. (You can also order off a menu). The buffet is fabulous!!! Fresh Seafood and Prime Rib! Oh my, the variety of salads, vegies, rices and other Asian sides are amazing. Alaskan King crab legs as well as snow crab legs! The desserts and fresh fruit seems endless! Such a great deal!!! They also have... More

Our hotel recommended this restaurant for its Thanksgiving buffet and they didn't go wrong. We also enjoyed the aquarium views - sorry to see that it is under refurbishment - but the food was really worth the price. Its large variety and unlimited trips were in line with the price.

Husband and I stumbled across this restaurant, what a surprising find. We both got the buffet, excellent steamed shrimp (not overcooked and rubbery). Husband enjoyed Snow crab legs and we were both satisfied with the prime rib. At $52 per person it was worth it.

We first ate in this restaurant 11 years ago and was fascinated by the large aquarium along one wall of the restaurant. Slightly disappointed this visit as the aquarium is undergoing refurbishment. However the buffet is great with all you can eat for a reasonable price. Plenty of choice for all tastes.

My mum and I wanted some seafood for dinner and we were staying in the Pacific Beach Hotel so made sense to pop down to the restaurant for dinner. It was expensive at $52US each for the seafood buffet. Definitely not worth the money when you spend so long cracking the crab legs and peeling the prawns. The aquarium is... More

What happen? Used to be the best place for local and tourist. Still expensive but get old prime rib (da bugga was fallen apart and dry it was so old) and left over food. Come on Step It Up! Just read the review and let it fire you up with passion. Do let it drag you down! Remember "Aloha State"... More

Came here recently for a birthday celebration. My cousin picked the Oceanarium as she had been wanting to try it for some time. Atmosphere: It was OK. Yes, the aquarium theme is nice and kept the kiddos entertained, but the restaurant has clearly seen better days. Service: Attentive and pleasant. Buffet: We came during the breakfast buffet. Great selection (pastries,... More

My family and I were looking for a seafood buffet in downtown Honolulu, and we found this gem from tripadvisor. Pictures on file was great and reviews were mostly positive, so we decided to try. Crab legs were great! There are two kinds: cold and steamed. I prefer the steamed once because crab meat easily comes out compared to the... More

Though the aquarium tank was closed, it would be someone where I would come back to if I travel back to the island. You'll need to ask for the warm/hot crab legs which are bigger than the cold ones out on ice.
