We like the old feel of the restaurant, friendly wait staff and coffee shop food. Endless cups of coffee and comfort food. Give it a try!

The only dish I order here is the Prime Rib dinner. Comes with soup or salad, carb side, drink, and dessert. Prime Rib dinner for two will run you with tip about $50. The other dishes on the menu is really not that good....heavy on the carbs and Lots of gravy. Not really a place you would come on a... More

Just needed a quick breakfast so ordered mahimahi and eggs. Fish obviously frozen and tasteless. Service ok. For visitors, better check out the restaurants across the street. Pier 38 I think.

Stopped by for dinner after considering a number of options in the area because we had not been to New Eagle Cafe in a long while. There iw always a lot of cars in the parking area fronting the restaurant. I had the Hawaiian chopped steak which came out on a sizzling platter. Other two people in my party had... More

2nd time i got dissappointed. 1st time was when i ordered porkchop with sramble eggs and rice. My porkchop was not cooked all the way; lost my appetite on that day. On July 23, 2016, i went back for breakfast and sure enough. The first sign is when me and my wife gt served watered-down coffee. I mean, who would... More

So many choices: American? Japanese? Daily specials? Prime rib is good, so are pork chops. Fresh caught fish prepared so many different ways! And fresh baked pies to end the meal on a homestyle high!

Sat my wife & I right by the kitchen & restroom. Dining room was only half full. Noise from kitchen staff laughing & talking & the restroom crowd was terrible. Food/ miso butterfish/ 24.00 was a joke. Fish was 2-3 ounces & tasteless. Shrimp was hard & dry. We were rushed by waitress. Will tell all my friends & relatives... More

Love this place for breakfast! Awesome Eggs Benedict (best on the island), great waffles (try it! - it's crispy), and great prime rib breakfast. But they need to improve lunch and dinner menus for me to go there for lunch or dinner.

An old school local-style coffee shop restaurant with a surprisingly large menu. Also serves beer and wine. We had the California Club Sandwich (turkey, bacon and avocado on toasted wheat), the Oxtail Stew, and the Misoyaki Butterfish. For dessert we had the pumpkin crunch which was really good, the desserts were fresh made. It was a little dark inside but... More

Not much new about it. A friendlier, younger greeter, the place is darker and now has unpleasant loud sounds (not music) from the ceiling. The benches in the booths are still worn out and uncomfortable, the chairs are still the same old. The service leaves a good deal to be desired. We waited 15 minutes from the time we ordered...
