So I got the boneless chicken all rice, gravy all over the rice. I never get anything else. Why mess with a good thing.

The food was pretty good. A bit heavy but that is expected. Order the chili fries and Shoyu chicken and you cant go wrong. Also the loco moco is greatd

I found this place on the Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives website. You cant go wrong, right! So why not try it out, as our first meal out in Honolulu. Parking is hard to get. You may have to park a few blocks away and walk in. Otherwise, drop someone off to order and then take the order home or to... More

The restaurant fits with the laid back nature of the Island. Luckily, I did not have to fight with any crowds so my wife and I were able to enjoy our meals in relative peace. The food is hearty, heavy, and the perfect way to start off the morning

You also need to get a slush float. It's gotten a bit touristy and more commercialized in recent years, but the food is... More

Classic drive in with typical plate lunch of old. Katsu, loco moco, teri plate, etc. Almost all come with mac salad and rice.

We went here after a tour and the burgers are absolutely delicious. Defiantly worth waiting in line for. Staff are kinda friendly but what they lack in friendliness they make up for in their food.

As busy as an Australian McDonalds peak time. They production line these massive meals made to accomodate 1 hungry Hawaiian but in terms of our servings in Australia, its massive and comes in overflowing takeaway containers for approx. USD$12, but everyone is using the outdoor dining facilities, there not going anywhere, they can't wait to get stuck into there: protein... More

I really like plate lunches in Hawaii and what can be better than Rainbow Drive-Inn's chili dog plate with gravy all over? (yes that includes the mac salad)... this southern boy says, not much.
