This restaurant gets pretty full at lunch, and for good reason! The food is tasty and everything that passed our table was attractively served. We were lucky to get a table without a reservation. We enjoyed iced tea, soup, and sandwich. Service was pleasant. Tables are outside, under cover.

It is so nice to go to the museum and then to eat here. It is a good place to meet friends and have lunch. It is covered but outside and the museum has a wonderful feel to it. The salad with the grilled goat cheese was really good and I don't like goat cheese. Any of the main courses... More

Came by for lunch after our recent tour to Shangri-La. Only open for a few hours...Last seating is at 1:30. Reservations taken. All open air under a roof with a few larger tables with umbrellas. No a/c but ceiling fans. We have been here in the summer and it was really HOT. This time, early December...it was perfect. Nice size... More

The Honolulu Museum of Art, with its courtyards and beautiful architecture, is itself a world away from the heavily trafficked world outside, and the cafe has the same atmosphere. We had the curried turkey salad and the grilled eggplant; both were quite good. The prices may be a little steeper than you might find elsewhere, but you are partly paying... More

We concluded our Shangri La tour and they recommended we have lunch at the cafe. We are tourists from Australia and didn't know we needed to book. It would be good if the ticketing told you to do so. We went to the cafe and there was a queue of people paying and a couple of meters away there was... More

This cafe is a delightful & peaceful break from the hustle & bustle of the city. Seated outside in a courtyard, the lunch selections are varied & each delicious. Treat yourself to a relaxing afternoon of art... on the walls as well as on your plate. Excellent service as well!

We had lunch at the cafe, which was quite busy, but we were able to obtain a table right away. We both ordered the chicken sandwich which was very very good, and the service was excellent. Price was what we expected for Honolulu. It was a nice respite in between our art adventures.

The museum is a must, I'll skip the Cafe next time. The atmosphere is great with open air seating and great views of art and water features, Reservations are a must; they seat every 15 minutes. I made my reservations when I arrived and concluded my visit with lunch. I had the Piandina: Fresh mozzarella and prosciutto di Parma on... More

Museum food services can be simply awful, but this site is quite solid. The open air venue is quite pleasant including many tropical plants and a long fountain. I enjoyed a salad with fresh warm seared sushi grade Ahi and my colleague was quite pleased with her curried salad. The service was friendly and prompt. This cafe is definitely worth... More

Food is wonderful; atmosphere is wonderful; service is wonderful. This is a very special experience - so near to downtown, yet feels as if you're on a private estate. Great for dining with friends, family, visitors, special occasions.
