If you are looking for delicious French cuisine with a quaint, intimate experience, this is the place to go! Went here for an anniversary and it was the perfect place to dine to celebrate! As expected, not only is the presentation beautiful, but the dishes are phenomenal.

We've been there twice in a week! One of the best pho soup that we ate in our lives! If you know the pho's value like we do, you will love it! Besides that, the menu is very diverse, the restaurant is very clean and the waiters very kind! We'll come back for sure!

We read all the rave reviews and made reservations for Christmas Eve 2016. The ambience was very nice and I can understand the charm that other reviewers love. However, my husband and I are lamb lovers and were looking forward to the lamb chops/rack of lamb that were listed on their on-line menu. The menu we were given had lamb... More

There should be a line out the door! The food is amazing, ambience worthy of a special occasion, this family run Bistro in Chinatown is worth a visit. They have validated parking across the street. Don't miss it.

Almost as a matter of principle, I rarely go to Vietnamese restaurants, especially in Honolulu. The great majority are glorified Pho places with expanded menus flogging well-worn, overly salted dishes, smothered in MSG and drowned in overpowering fish sauce. Last summer I went to Duc's Bistro for the first time. I came back this December. The experience did not change... More

My wife and i ate here last week while we were holidaying in Hawaii. It was recommended by a member at our hotel. Located in Chinatown it is about a $15 cab fee from Waikiki shopping precinct. It is a family run business we found out and the owner is Mr Duc, who tells us he has had the restaurant... More

Great little spot in Chinatown with amazing food and parking across the street. The escargot - delicious, same with the foie gras. The special was a papaya salad which was one of the best I've had, perfect with the ginger martini! Great place for a nice dinner or to hang out at the bar with friends.

We have not been there for a while but took out of town friends recently. The restaurant is small, tables not close together, service was prompt and the Vietnamese inspired food excellent. We shared some appetizers, eggplant, spring rolls and crab cakes, all excellent. Main courses which we also shared were lemongrass chicken, breast of duck, New Zealand lamb chops... More

Odd location but totally worth cab ride.2nd trip here and food is simply amazing! There are many dishes to choose from & served family style- to share. Owner & son are main people in front & guide you through menu choices. Wife in kitchen. These dishes are a unique blend of fine dining with freshest ingredients. Lamb & fish dishes... More

I travel to Honolulu several times a year and Duc's bistro is the only restaurant I insist on going to every time I return. It is always a wonderful experience, the food is routinely excellent and the hospitality of the host family is great. The ambience is also worth noting; very quiet with the tables spaced very generously for conversation--often... More
