My wife and i ate here last week while we were holidaying in Hawaii. It was recommended by a member at our hotel. Located in Chinatown it is about a $15 cab fee from Waikiki shopping precinct. It is a family run business we found out and the owner is Mr Duc, who tells us he has had the restaurant... More

Great little spot in Chinatown with amazing food and parking across the street. The escargot - delicious, same with the foie gras. The special was a papaya salad which was one of the best I've had, perfect with the ginger martini! Great place for a nice dinner or to hang out at the bar with friends.

We have not been there for a while but took out of town friends recently. The restaurant is small, tables not close together, service was prompt and the Vietnamese inspired food excellent. We shared some appetizers, eggplant, spring rolls and crab cakes, all excellent. Main courses which we also shared were lemongrass chicken, breast of duck, New Zealand lamb chops... More

Odd location but totally worth cab ride.2nd trip here and food is simply amazing! There are many dishes to choose from & served family style- to share. Owner & son are main people in front & guide you through menu choices. Wife in kitchen. These dishes are a unique blend of fine dining with freshest ingredients. Lamb & fish dishes... More

I travel to Honolulu several times a year and Duc's bistro is the only restaurant I insist on going to every time I return. It is always a wonderful experience, the food is routinely excellent and the hospitality of the host family is great. The ambience is also worth noting; very quiet with the tables spaced very generously for conversation--often... More

Had a great dinner here during our visit to Honolulu. The food is fantastic and the ambience is very nice with large black and white photos of Vietnamese scenes on the walls. Good value for the quality of the food and upscale dining environment.

What a fantastic meal. Duc's has been using seasonal and local ingredients for 25 years. The food was awesome. The meals are easily adaptable to anyone's food issues- which is my problem. Vegan, gluten free, etc you will have many choices. The green papaya salad was amazing as were the shrimp. The bar is gorgeous and made from native Hawaiian... More

Fabulous restaurant that would fit in anywhere in the world, Duc's was a joy. We started with MaiTais. If we had nothing else, I would be writing the same review. So perfect, gingery, smooth. Four of us ordered different main courses and each one was yummy. Desert was no less wonderful, service was warm and friendly. I'd go back in... More

I have been visiting Duc's Bistro many year's ago when I read about his Steak Tartare. Along with his excellent Shrimp dinner and a variety of French/Vietnamese inspired dishes, make it a truly excellent culinary experience.

This is also a must go to restaurant in Chinatown. Owned by husband and wife the food is spectacular mix of French and Vietnamese. Let the owner chose your dinner and you will not be disappointed. Everything is good here,,,,everything!
