We were celebrating our 30th anniversary and after being in Honolulu for a week this was our best meal. The service was excellent from the host to the server to one of the owners. We had two of their local dishes plus dessert, pecan tarts,...and all of it was fantastic. Our server Joey was polite and attentive. The owner John, stoped by to check on us several times. Their trademark seasoning is perfect.More

These reviews about garlic don't lie, there is a lot! My husband and I loved it. We had the garlic noodles (awesome), easy shrimp, broccoli, and Karai Combo. It was a lot of food so we had leftovers for the next night. Fast service! Make...a reservation because this is a small place. Whatever you order, get a side of the garlic noodles--reminds me of my childhood with butter and noodles, except this had garlic. Would definitely recommend this place.More

We had a wonderful experience. The staff was all super attentive and friendly. They recommended their favorites and they did not disappoint. Like other reviews, we would highly recommend the garlic noodles. We got the pound of king crab and the no mess shrimp with...the Karai Special sauce, and added potatoes and corn. It was so flavorful and delicious. We just started our vacation, but have talked about going back again before we leave. We loved it!More

Excellent food- very flavorful and fresh. The service was very friendly. We were seated promptly. It is a very small place, but clean and functional. I did feel like the food was overpriced but enjoyed the meal.

One of our favorite meals! The combo steam pots were delicious. They are worth every penny. We got the first level of spicy, and it was perfect.

The food was okay. They need to work on the Cajun seasoning or change the name on the menu. Expect to spend in excess of 200.00 ( 3 people) Garlic noodles were on point. The snow crab were not very meaty and the mussels were...a bit overcooked.More

Such amazing food! It’s off the beaten tourist path but so worth the cab ride. We ordered the no mess shrimp, king crab legs, lobster, garlic noodles, and macaroni salad. The macaroni salad didn’t really have a lot of flavor so I’d skip that next...time. But everything else was perfect. I will be dreaming of this meal for a long time!More
