Grilled shrimp & kailua pork tacos were so fresh and the garlic shrimp plate was so flavorful and plentiful. Service was very friendly with beachfront tables which was so nice and relaxing. We sat in the shaded area, but you can sit in the sun...under umbrellas too. Wait in line to place your order at the window, and then grab your seat to wait for your order. We will be back! Mahalo for a great lunch.More

This was a great find while staying at Diamond Head, there aren’t many places to eat down there, so this was great. An amazing wee spot, right on the water. Just order your food, find a table or do a picnic takeaway as the park...area is beautiful. Food is pretty basic but nice, they even managed to,do some Gluten Fish for me!! This is not licensed though. Great spot for the Waikiki Sunsets.More

The atmosphere is amazing. The staff is relatively at nice and kind, sometimes a bit aggressive because overwhelmed with work. I loved the food I ate. Unfortunately, however, I got very sick because of gluten cross-contamination. I recommend the place absolutely to everybody, families, couples...and solo but be careful if you are coealiac.More

We had to wait until our check-in time at 3:00pm so I decided what better place to spend some extra time than at The Barefoot Beach Cafe. My son and I fell in love with this tiny cafe last summer. I must admit not much...has changed since our last visit.  My son enjoyed his shaved ice and steak plate lunch just like old times. I enjoyed my garlic shrimp and my welcome back to Hawaii smoothie in a pineapple. Barefoot Beach Cafe is definitely a great informal restaurant where you can grab a bite after a surfing lesson, visiting the beach, or even after visiting the Waikiki Aquarium.  It is just one of those places where anytime is a wonderful time to visit. My only challenge during this visit were the birds who sometimes tried to become uninvited guests at the lunch table.More

We Ubered here after a day of activities and were disappointed that a lot of the food was actually sold out, and we got there at 5 pm! We were planning to have dinner, but the options were slim at that point, so we decided...to move on. It is a beachside snack bar vibe, so don’t expect fancy dining. We ended up grabbing some Dole Whips and walking down the street and having dinner elsewhere. We’d definitely try there again, just earlier.More

Located this café by accident walking along the foreshore. Stopped in for lunch. Shared the fish and chips. Food was amazing. Even though the fish was deep fried it was melt in the mouth fall apart. Flavours were fantastic. Sat at a table under an...umbrella for shade with views out over the water. Beautiful and relaxing. Service was friendly and quick. Would highly recommend a visit when in the area.More

The food was really good. Some of the best food we had in Hawaii. It was also among the most affordable meals in the area. Live music and a lively location.

Just a short walk toward Diamond Head along the beach from the Zoo is the perfect spot to have an open air breakfast with beachside views. The iced coffee was good by US standards and i chose the Loco Moco and my wife went the...healthier Acai Bowl. Egg was still soft which allowed the yolk to dribble through the gravy into the rice - certainly a tasty start to the day just a bit too much rice so the excess became fish food. Plastic single use cutlery has been replaced by "compostable" but is this collected and composted or is it still destined for landfill?More

Allow me to set the scene. Fluffy clouds dot the sky over a rolling sea. Garlic fries and a juicy burger adorn my plate. With both hands i hold a large fresh pineapple filled with a frosted smoothie. Now, thrown in a very warm and...friendly staff and I have found paradise. A small beach shack with covered outdoor seating serving great bar-type good. In five days visited 3 times. My highest recommendation.More

This is a place to get Very good food in a very casual setting. Check out Catch of the Day and also the Ahi Burger (loved it). Just a short beach walk from the Park Shore Waikiki Hotel and located in a park type setting...next to the ocean.More

We stopped for dinner after attending Easter mass at St. Augustine by the Sea in Waikiki. The café is located on the beach and has covered and outdoor seating. The evening we were there was a 3-piece group providing live entertainment. Food is made to...order and is ordered and picked up at a counter. If you go at dinner time like we did, expect to stand 45-60 minutes in a long, slow-moving line. It is worth the wait. My husband ordered the fish of the day (swordfish) served with steamed white rice with furikake and mixed greens with house vinaigrette ($15). I ordered the kalua pork and cabbage plate served with rice and greens ($13). My daughter is vegan and ordered Cynthia’s Vegan Spring Rolls ($12). We shared Acai Bowl ($13). All the food was delicious especially the Acai Bowl (first time trying it for me). Sit on the patio and watch the beautiful sunset. It’s located at the far end of Waikiki Beach and serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner. They do not take reservations.More

We walked along the beach and through the park but there was car parking on the street that runs along from main strip to south of the Zoo.
