Service was great, view is great. Food on the other hand. Trash. Super disappointed because this place has the potential to be amazing. With just the location I expected so much more. Tortillas are straight out of the bag not even microwaved or warmed up...on a flat top. Fried rice was boxed and cold. This would probably be a better breakfast stop than a quick bite after the beach spot. Pork and shrimp tacos were okay besides the tortilla. But it’s two tiny shrimps and Maybe 2 tablespoons of pork. You can go further down and get more for the same price.More

Right next to the water and tasty food. We ate w a couple of times for breakfast. The portions are plenty and prices reasonable. Barefoot is entirely outdoor dining. You order at the counter. Staff is very friendly. Then you find a place to sit...and wait a short time to be called. There is seating with a roof in case you don’t want sun and seating in the open.More

Excellent food! I had the Kailua pork sandwich and my husband had the Barefoot Burger. The burger is a 40 year old recipe. He said it was the best meal he had on the island (& we ate there on our last night). They had...live Hawaiian music with a hula dancer which created a great sunset ambience right on the beach! The grounds were kept immaculate by Ireland, she did a great job bussing tables and sweeping up so that everything was beautiful. Make sure to go! They’re amazing!More

We stopped here on our way back from the Aquarium, looking to grab a quick bite. We were amazed by their expansive menu, and the reasonable prices. The coconut shrimp were delicious, and the teriyaki pineapple burger was amazing. Other highlights were the Kahlua pig...sandwich and the Hawaiian guava bbq chicken. Highly recommend stopping for delicious food served within mere steps of Waikiki Beach. Outstanding!More

With the beach front location and an easy walk from our hotel this place became our local eating spot in Waikiki. There are tables outside and the whole area is open and the food is fine. We had many meals here and always found it...a perfect spot. There is live music in the early evening and great sunsets. We had Poke Bowl, Fluffy Buttermilk Pancakes with fruit, Spiked Avocado toast (great breakfast), Acai bowl(great breakfast). An added bonus was the rainbow.More

We ate here several times on our trip. It is right on the beach and you can wear your beach clothes. They have a variety of food. Everything we ordered was very good. The sunsets from this cafe were awesome!

If you are expecting food like you get at a pool at a resort you won’t be disappointed the food is fine but there’s nothing special or gourmet about it

We were walking along the road next to the beach and asked a city worker where a good place to eat lunch would be. He said he didn't eat in the area because everything is so expensive, but he gave us a couple names that...he heard as being good, two of which were national chains, so we went with the local eatery - the Barefoot Beach Cafe. The food was pretty good; obviously the location right on the beach was great. This is an outdoor cafe, where you order at a window and pick it up when it is ready; then sit at tables outside. The only turnoffs were that there were flies all over inside where they cook, but I guess not much they can do since it is an open area. The tables didn't seem very clean either and we didn't see anyone cleaning them while we were there. Overall, though, the experience was worth it.More

Don't wait to visit, make it top of your list - this sweet little cafe has the best location in Waikiki, great selection, great staff, great prices. Its not table service, make your selection, order and collect. Any table will have a great view.

We walked along the beach and through the park but there was car parking on the street that runs along from main strip to south of the Zoo.
