We were sad to walk by our favorite Waikiki sushi place last night to find it closed for good. 😒 This was always one of nightly dinner spots when visiting Waikiki. I hope we can find a substitute place as quaint and good.

Excellent kaukau! The service was awesome and fast. On top of that the food had plenty portion brada. I had to take some food back to the hotel for later.

Loved the sushi so made sure we visited the cafe again. When I went to pay for the bill I was charged an extra $6.00 on top of my bill for a servers charge. When I questioned the charge I was told it was standard in Waikiki. It was then added to my credit card. I would of brought cash... More

Hidden gem for sushi and Japanese food!! Small private setting with great service and fresh food. Had ahi tuna special sushi roll and the tuna was rare and fresh. Beef bowl and tempura udon soup were also great! Ask for some Japanese spices for your soup- adds great flavor to the broth! I believe it is a BYOB place as... More

Looks very unassuming, and not a place for a special date. However, the service is cordial, the food is 100% fresh and extremely tasty. Best value by far in over-priced Waikiki.

After reading all the positive reviews I was looking forward to trying this place. It's definitely cute and a hole in the wall. Food was ok but way way over priced. Spent $45 USD for two donburi and 2 small rolls (8 pieces of California roll and 8 pieces of ahi roll). The same meal in Vancouver would have been... More

My husband and I were staying in Waikiki and were looking for a less expensive restaurant with a local feel that we could walk to. We read good reviews, so decided to try it for dinner. It was small and very quaint and obviously family owned. There were only a handful of tables, but there was also sidewalk table seating.... More

Food was okay but the service was terrible. It was my last day in Hawaii and this restaurant totally ruined the end of my happy vacation. If you are not good at English or not familiar with American culture just never go there.

Hiked Diamond Head then stopped for lunch while walking back to hotel. Shared a salad and the sushi was amazing. Involuntarily said yum midway through the meal! Very small dining area. Decor was very Hawaiian eclectic. Not a place for a romantic meal, but definitely a place for personalized service and delicious eats!! (Was gluten free friendly, too.)
