Friendly service, good options and fresh tasting. Neat little spot, very relaxing way to start the day.

Great food, friendly staff- their breakfasts are a piece of art! Small restaurant but so outstanding....
Disgusting oily food - not highly rated -- This restaurant located on the premises of the Outrigger Luana Hotel is overrated for the mom and pop oily, greasy, overpriced food. We cannot recommend this joint for the food served. Try somewhere else for breakfast. Those...More
We had a number of meals at Protea Cafe because it was attached to the hotel we were staying at. The breakfast, unfortunately, was not amazing. The hours were very confusing - the cafe seemed to open later than their sign said they would, and...More
This small and charming cafe has a bigger kitchen than space for tables. This kind of makes you feel that the cafe is built just for you and the fact that you can rarely notice the place makes you even more happy that you found...More
this is a partial review only for the fact that I only ate one item. I walked here from my time share. This cafe is tiny and service is a little slow but that is to be expected for fresh healthy food that is far...More
Best Acai Bowl in Honolulu. Fresh Strawberries, Kiwifruit, Rasberries, Blueberries, Blackberries and Pitaya, with local honey and Coconut Shavings on top! I eat the omelettes here on the regular, the Protea Omelette is my favorite. They also have a French Toast Sandwich which I though...More
A bit spendy but everywhere is. They give you plenty and have a nice variety on the menu. They have breakfast until 11am and then happy hour and lunch until 2 pm. No dinner. The place is very small but nice.
Had a delicious breakfast here 1st morning we stayed in the hotel. Only downside is that is only opens at 7am & closes at 2pm. Very small but service is quick.
