We liked the previous restaurant that was in this interesting location (above a luxury car showroom), and thought we'd give this new one a try. Arranged to meet friends from the mainland there for dinner. We were all disappointed. The table setting and glasses etc...were all very elegant but the food was truly ho hum. My pasta was soggy and bland--how one can ruin spaghetti carbanara I just don't know! My wife had the putanesca --huge helping so she brought half of it home. We usually have left-overs for lunch the next day, but we didn't bother to eat it. Enough said.More

After my fourth time dining here,I was sad to hear that Chef Rodney was no longer there. The service remained poor as I had to request a pour into my empty wine glass. My partners fish dish was well overdone the ribeye was hardly that....I was so sad again.More

A first class Italian restaurant. Seafood is a specialty and the seafood pasta I had was wonderful. Pasta cooked just right, slightly al dente. Delicious white wine sauce and loaded with seafood. All was fresh and cooked perfectly. Great wine list and excellent service.

I want to state that although I give this restaurant an average rating I would probably go back . The reasons for average : 1. It is a very bright restaurant for a lovely dinner place so it affects the ambiance which is just plain...we were in a separate room with one other party ( a family) in there. They could dim the light a little . 2. I called earlier in the day to ask about being able to bring wine and what the corkage was ... I left a message to call me and I also emailed but no response. So I took wine and asked the hostess when I got there she couldn’t answer my question. Upon sitting I asked the waitress she didn’t know either and had to go and find out. Turns out It was ok with a $30 corkage. 3. The waitress asked us if we wanted to order appetizers and we requested the calamari but she informed us they were out ... so we decided on the clams and she informed us they were out so we told her to tell us what they do have . 4. No clams meant we couldn’t order a few of the main dishes that we thought about. 5. We had to ask for water during our appetizers as none was on the table . 6. We ordered a salad and was asked if we wanted pepper... the gentleman helping the waitress reached across in front of my friend to put pepper on her salad ... when it came to mine he did one twist of pepper and walked away... he didn’t ask if I needed more..which I wanted more but decided not to ask. 7. The waitress serving our wine kept dripping it all over upon poring. 8. My friend didn’t really care for her meat dish. It was obvious these two needed a lot more training or were very new. On the positive side 1. The salmon dish was excellent and my husband loved his osso bucco ! 2. They were nice to split our anti pasti on two plates so we wouldn’t have to reach over . 3. The waitress and helper were at friendly ! They just need training. 4. It is a relaxing atmosphere . 5. Prices are reasonable.. 6. They gave me a dessert for my birthday. Like I said I would possibly try it again!More

This was all around one if the better places we have eaten at. There were 6 of us and we ordered a variety of items. Everything was great! The waiter, Daniel, was great. Extra thumbs up to the carpaccio, ahi crudo, lobster ravioli, and bread...pudding. Will definitely go back.More

We had a wonderful meal here... appetizers were good & our entrees were superb. They serve really good seafood & pastas here. Both my husband and I were impressed and said that their food reminded us of the delicious pasta we had in Italy. If...we’re back in Honolulu, we would definitely dine here again,More

The venue was really nice. Our server was excellent. She was very attentive to our table. She is the primary reason for the 4 star rating. Food was good. But a little pricey. The price of the appetizers looked reasonable, until the dish was served...with only 3 or 4 pieces. They were also out of several desserts we wanted to try (and we have a 6 pm seating). Also didn't have all the breads for the bread basket appetizer (yes you do need to pay for bread). But they did give us a complimentary basket of the bread they did have.More

Heard about Viaggio from business associates and took a chance. I admit I'm a fussy customer- like my food the right temperature and everything fresh and cook to perfection. Was not disappointed!

Took 5 guests to try the new iteration of rhe restaurant that is not likely long for this world unless the quality of the food and service improves a lot. Started with salads and they were good, appetizer was OK and the entrees terrible. Uncooked...vegetables, strange sauces, soggy pasta with a horrible sauce, a beautiful piece of meat destroyed with 3 different sauces on the plate including a hot sauce on the uncooked vegetables. And the waiter had no idea what he was serving. I asked for a vegan option and was served 3 uncooked green peppers with some unknown stuffing. And the bill came to over $400 without alcohol. Can’t imagine what the new owners must be thinking. My guess is that the restaurant will be closed by the end of April unless there are some big changes in the kitchen and front end. Too bad because it’s a nice venue now that they have figured out the valet parking.More

We apologize for your unfortunate experience with us. We will discuss these details with our staff. While we do not have any outright vegetarian or vegan options listed on our menu at this time, accommodation of that type of dietary restriction shouldn't result in "strange...More

Set inside the Velocity showroom sits an unexpected treat. Viaggio's ambiance, cuisine and service is outstanding. I was able to sample several appetizers and entrees and each had a great flavor. My favorites were the seared ahi with just the right amount of kick, the...braised octopus and the rib-eye which was perfectly tender and seasoned. The service was superb--friendly and professional. I highly recommend checking out the happy hour and then staying for dinner if you are inspired.More
