We had the Mikawon special for two and it was very good. The miso stew was great and the chilli raw crab was excellent. All the pickled side dishes could be refilled as required but there was plenty anyway. The bbq steak was a bit chewy but the fish was delicious. It all came together and was quickly served.

Some of the best Korean food I have eaten any where. I go to Korea often and this is top notch. The kimchi and sides are great. We had the beef tounge, brisket, and sirloin and it was excellent.

Best Korean food I've had. A bit pricey but you get what you pay for - excellent taste and generous portions.

A Korean restaurant full of Koreans is always a good sign. The place is simple but the menu has lots of options of great eats at a good price. We started with some very good fried mandoos that my kids love. We shared some bbq short ribs and fried rice and one of my sons had some spicy ramen. Everything... More

We stumbled into this hole in the wall because the Korean place we had come for was too crowded. We were so grateful to find it! Such wonderful food with hearty portions! Exactly what we needed after a long day of travel.

We went for lunch and was amazed that we were one of the few tables. We ordered many favorites. So generous with the Kimchi refill. I also got my buckwheat tea. Very tasty, decent price for Waikiki.

Very tourist-i-centric. Walls plastered with 8-1/2x11 sheets of paper singing accolades to them from past diners. Guess it gives them and "new" diners validation for the making the right choice to dine there. Didn't seem too busy but staff running back and forth, almost chaotically. Which lead to my only mark here. It irks me when all dishes come out... More

4 of us went to Mikawon Korean BBQ restaurant on the spur of the moment for dinner very busy place, staff helpful and food great, we all thoroughly enjoyed the meal which we shared. Located not far from the Food Pantry. Staff friendly and helpful would recommend.

We entered Mikawon restaurant expecting to be able to grill our dishes on a table. To our surprise Bulgogi and Kalbi were made in a kitchen. Kalbi tasted great, but beef bulgogi was not nice at all. Good kimchi was a plus. They charge you more then 20% of service, without explanation. This is not very common to a European... More

We used TripAdvisor to find this place - wanting something a little spicy and tasty on our first night in Hawaii (this time). We had gone to another restaurant but walked out after a bunch of basic but continual mishaps piled up. A quick look at TripAdvisor on my mobile and we found this place not far away. We are... More
