Centrally located in the heart of Kalihi, this restaurant has it all for whatever you could be interested for regarding foods from the islands! Known for their Hawaiian food, their lau lau is pretty good! Pork, chicken, butterfish lau lau's are available. Can't go wrong with any of them! The ti leaves wrapping the lau lau is so good! Kalua... More

Best laulau that I've eaten. Salt, fat, and all those things that make Hawaii food great. They have plate lunches and a hot table that you can pick items from. Definitely a local place. Hard to find parking. There is also a take-out section where you can get laulau, poke and other Hawaii food to take home.

We brought the whole family, kids from eight to twenty-one. No one enjoyed their meal. Fatty and surprisingly bland. We were disappointed.

Whether you are a kama'aina ('local') or malahini (new comer) to Honolulu, you just gotta check out the 'local' style and Hawaiian food. You'll get great quality with good portions at reasonable prices. Highway Inn is all right but this is "mo betta" !!!

This place is great! Food is so awesome and prices as well. I loved the laulau and luau pork. I also had the turkey tails and really liked them.

At first I thought I heard incorrectly...Turkey Tails? Could that taste good? I was willing to give it a go. I ordered, lau lau, white rice, char siu pork, chili pepper waterand BBQ turkey tails. Wow!!! Is all I can say. Authentic hawaiian food is being churned out of Youngs daily. The menu is extensive and the portions are HUGE.... More

Young's was on our list of must try local spots. We really enjoy Hawaiian food and we were not disappointed. Young's seems more like a deli/fish market but there is seating inside. The highlights of this stop: poke, tripe stew and turkey butts. Poke - You can't go wrong with getting poke from a fish market. The poke was fresh... More

Young's has been around for a while and I've been going here since they were in the Kapalama Shopping Center. Large portions and good food. But like all good Hawaiian food, it's not cheap for a plate lunch.
