I've tried several Hot Dogs and enjoy them all. I'm partial to Chicago Style. And I had to have a Hula Dog. It had a very "Island" taste and I liked it. Although it was difficult to find in Waikiki, I would definitely recommend trying one.

Hula Dog is located within the Food Pantry at 2370 Kuhio Dr., 96815. Had we not been intentionally searching for it, we wouldn't have known about it, as there's no readily apparent signage to direct you to it, or to the fact that it's located inside the Food Pantry grocery. Moreover, there's no place to sit, except outside on a... More

Aside from being Polish Hot Dogs, the hot-dogs are over-rated and over priced. I don't want to sound like a diva, but I've hot dogs just as good in New York, Philadelphia, Chicago, the beach cities of L.A. and on and on and they didn't get reviews. I have no idea why I was left so cold, but I found... More

If you are a Germ-a-phob probably skip lol. The hot dogs were OK, had the taro with the pineapple and all the fixings.

A different take on the hot dog, it was delicious! Several spicy and fruity sauces you can apply to a dog that comes in an internally toasted bun. Lemonade was homemade and delicious.

A nice local spot located in a walking mall. Limited choices, but Yummy hot dogs. Rolls were good (not from a bag) and were warmed before the hot dogs were added. Choices of fruit relishes are great - our group tried 4 different ones and all were happy. Dog plus chips and drink is about $10 although the hot dogs... More

Try anything, it is all delicious. The kids menu was shown on the bulletin board, but not available so that was disappointing, but the taro buns and all the relishes were amazing and inexpensive. Note: we looked all around for a storefront, only to find the Hula Dog was inside the grocery store.

We searched this place out before leaving downtown and were not too impressed. After seeing it on one of Anthony Bourdain's shows I didn't want to miss out. The dog was fine, but there was way too much bread and not enough sauce. The bun tasted stale. The service had no Aloha. Hopefully the new location in Newport Beach is... More

A little hard to find. Go inside the market and you will find it. Apparently Hula Dog can not hang a sign outside. The dogs are as good as Puka Dog. The Taro Bacon bun is awesome , it had tiny pieces of bacon bits.
