This modest fast food establishment has teriyaki sandwiches that we've been coming back for, say, 10 years or more and don't think we've had any better from any other place. The teriyaki meat is tender and perfectly seasoned and the french fries and fried rice aren't bad either, but the teriyaki is what draws us back. The parking lot is... More

Because of the TA reviews, we stopped here for dinner!! My husband and I split the mix plate and our nephew had the hamburger and fries!! Amazed at how fresh and delicious the mix plate was!! Highly recommend this item if you can't decide on an entree!! Nephew enjoyed his burger and there were so many fries that the three... More

Local plate lunches with the traditional scoop of rice (white or brown) but somehow tastier teriyaki beef or chicken with a healthy side salad. No frills dining with really fresh ingredients to eat there or to take to the beach.

Best scones anywhere, great little hole in the wall. Many great regular items, especially the desserts. There are also often surprises, new items and experiments like oso boco or mango bread pudding or bahn mi. No restroom, limited outdoor seating and it does get crowded, but worth the trip.

I recently grabbed lunch here after the Diamond Head hike. It had been several years since I'd eaten here, but I remembered that I had always liked the food and service. I had the BBQ Gorgonzola Bacon Burger and enjoyed it very much. My friend tried the Wasabi Shoyu Ahi Salad and said he liked it just fine. We were... More

A great place to chill for a quick late morning bite, of fresh baked goods & snacks & a grill to satisfy those with a heartier appetite & a budget. Frequented by locals & down the hill from Kapiolani college...during my stays in Hawai'i, it is part of the morning ritual. Mahalo!

If you are staying close to Diamond Head area it's not a bad place to go. I wouldn't drive miles to eat here though. It's not a cheap place to eat by the way. It's already $12 _ 15 for meal but they want to charge extra $2 for potato salad if you don't want green salad. Dinner for 2... More

Yumm!! Not hard to find, just barely away from the state monument that named this little store, this is Hawaiian food. A small corner store with an attacked walk up restaurant, you can get all sorts of foods here that you cant find on the mainland. Fish dishes (both fresh and to go), packed sushi, cakes and pies and other... More

Stopped here for breakfast on our way to the Diamond Head Crater. Best breakfast we had on Hawaii. Nothing fancy but very tasty. Cheap by the Hawaii's standard.
