Good food, great people watching. You might even see a cowboy or two. They do prime rib night and the menu is pretty diverse. Easy to find, ample parking.

The place was packed, and we had about a 30 minute wait to be seated; however, it was well worth the wait. The food was good , and the service was fast,

The food is great, but the bread pudding is delish! What a great place to take the family and have a tasty meal.

I had an amazing beef stroganoff meal. Also, on Sunday they have a deal - 2 meals for $12.00, from a small select menu. We didn't have that special. My stroganoff included a choice of a side. I selected the vegetable, which was zucchini, cilantro, & diced tomatoes. You can mix together with stroganoff. It was very good. I would... More

We visited here after riding the Verde Canyon RR in Clarkdale. We found it through TA. The people were really friendly and the food is great. Locally owned and operated. Wide menu selection pleased my entire family (including kids 9,11&13). We plan to go back!

Steaks were tough. Companion's green chile summer special was made with canned chile and tomatoes, plus heavy on cumin. Another person got the pasta special, and left still hungry, despite the $7 price tag. There were no plates at the salad bar or bowls at the soup dispenser. Baked potato was cold and served with cheap margarine.. Promised biscuits never... More

Have been there a few times with other people and food was always a problem. Meatloaf was dry; hamburger was well done as asked; but also totally dry. Bun is just OK. French fries were good. Others in the group ordered food; one returned it because the sauce had a gel-look and was dry. She got another meal and ate... More

I have lived near Nate's Cowboy Cafe for a few years now and FINALLY made my way over for dinner. Excellent ribs, excellent service (I don't think my iced tea ever went down more than 2 oz before being refilled) and super decent prices. Great location and a great experience. I will definitely be back!

Yes, the food is not what it use to be. They are making their own bread and if you order a hamburger the bread is not like hamburger bun. I had a grilled cheese one day and the bread was not good. It use to be on texas toast.

Nate's cowboy cafe is a favorite of locals and for good reason. Good food and lots of it for a very reasonable price. Due to the arrival of a 40 member motorcycle group, the service was slow and the restaurant rewarded us for our wait by giving us a free dessert.
