I've been to the Aloha Cafe 2 times in the past 2 weeks. The BLT is out of this world! Loaded with bacon which is always a good thing. The prices are very fair for Newport dining. And, the friendly smiles from behind the counter are so refreshing. Next time maybe I'll try something different. Or, maybe not....

This tiny café has mainly food previously prepared and wrapped up. Cookies, sandwiches, etc. Hot and cold drinks. It is very close to the water and the boats so if you are tired of walking and sightseeing you can stop here, grab a bite to eat, use the restroom and be on your way.

I had lunch at the Aloha Café on a cold day with few tourists around. The menu is short but the prices are very fair. My lox and bagels were warm, fresh and tasty. My friend and I had the entire dinning room to ourselves. The windows were open which let in a cool breeze. The music was soft and... More

We weren't looking for this cafe, but glad we found it. First of all it is a community oriented place which we like. Add in the fact it was in a great location, the prices were extremely reasonable, employees were friendly, AND food was delicious make it one of the best places we have eaten on our recent vacation. Located in the area of Bowen's Wharf and part of the Seamans Institute this is a surprising and excellent choice for lunch. The food is wholesome, not expensive, and the people were here are incredibly nice. A great surprise in this resort town.

I happened across the Aloha Café while out strolling about Newport. The café is actually in the Seaman's Church Institute building, There is good signage on the outside of the building which is how I spotted it. The staff were friendly. A variety of fresh fare including sandwiches, wraps, salads, and soups. I enjoyed the hummus plate and the corn... More

The food you get here is on par with many other high priced sandwich places, but much cheaper. The sandwiches comes with either chips, or pasta salad. Since I got there five minutes before close they were kind enough to make me a wonderful roasted veggie wrap, but were out of the pasta salad. That's my own fault though. My... More
