Stopped in before heading home for a nice coffee to take on the road. It's at the very end of the pier, right up against the boats and facing Newport Harbor. I got a double latte and my wife got a plain coffee. Both were very good. The location of the coffee shop is great because there's an outdoor seating... More

Fantastic service, fantastic views, fantastic coffee. Greeted by an adorably bubbly barista, outgoing, funny, and friendly. Small, cozy place near a pier. Sat out on the "porch" to watch the boats and enjoyed our perfect espressos and cappuccinos. Only slight downside was the Saran wrapped pastries, though they tasted good and were moist, I dislike wrapped pastries- I prefer pastries... More

We were really impressed with the coffee made from Italian coffee beans in that it was very tasty and particularly smooth to drink. Melissa who served us understood the importance of enjoying a good cup of freshly ground coffee rather than the filter stuff which seems to be served in many US establishments. It was the best coffee we had... More

Excellent coffee, friendly service and a beautiful view. Shaded area was a perfect place to relax. Snacks were available and light fare is available and liked good.

The Coffee Grinder proved to be an excellent choice for a quick lunch in a super spot. The roast beef sandwiches were freshly made to order, just the right size and very tasty. The coffee was good and the added bonus was that we were able to enjoy our lunch (and the sunshine) sitting on the deck area alongside Bannisters... More

This is my first Terrible review ever. This place sucks. Coffee and pastries are awful. We went there to have a cup of coffee with a nice sea view. What a mistake. At this day and age if you own a coffee shop you must try harder than that.

I thought it was just a regular local business but what it was, well it was actually a tourist trap! 2 cookies and a medium (which happened to be the size of a small from Starbucks) coffee was almost 12 dollars!😮. Do not fall into the same trap!

We meet here for a late evening business chat. The view was fun and plenty of seating. Coffee and dessert / pastry choices were somewhat limited but that was expected given the late hour. Thrilled to find somewhere to chat at 10pm that was happy to have our business. All the the desserts are baked fresh by the owner.

Best joint in Newport if you want a REAL cup of java. We stumbled upon this by following our noses and boy we sure are glad we did. We went here everyday. We found the Mocha and the Capp delightful. Keep up the good work. You are a pleasure to do business with.

How is it possible for one person to run an entire counter by themselves serving food and making a million different coffees? The answer, it's not, possible unless you like waiting in a long line I a dirty shop. Don't bother!
