Perfect location to grab a quick breakfast as we waited for our fishing tour. Nice deck overlooking the marina.

This was our 3rd time we stopped overnight in Newport. The Coffee Grinder is a MUST do. The coffee is excellent, the pastries are divine, and the owner is so friendly. Bless her heart she works long hours and bakes at night! The cinnamon rolls are so good! I almost missed seeing them, but so happy I saw them. There... More

Pastries were all pretty good (we sampled several). Also had the ham and cheese turnover for breakfast. Coffee was just ok...luke warm, but it was very busy and the lady was very friendly and working hard. The surrounding area is beautiful for a stroll. Seemed like a very popular little spot, which is generally a good sign that this is... More

I am never disappointed at the Coffee Grinder. I don't know how the girl cranks out everything so fast with a smile on hear face! The baked goods are to die for!

You might have to look twice to find it but worth it. Great range of offerings far beyond coffee and the typical sugary pastry - don't miss the homemade quiche. There's so much on the board and on display it might be hard to make a choice. I notice a couple of reviewers remarked on the service - yep, honey,... More

Terrible costumer service. Me and my friend went there to grab freshly squeezed orange juice as they promoted, almost 10 bucks for 2 glasses of fresh squeezed orange juice (when the bottle juice was 2.50)and what we get was 2 glasses of Tropicana bottle juice, no pulps, no fresh taste. So I decided to go back and ask her nicely,... More

You have to go to Coffee Grinder for breakfast when in Newport. It's all the way at the end of the wharf, next to Black Dog store. They have adirondack chairs that overlook the water and yachts. So relaxing. Coffee is delicious. Always love a place that has homemade muffins and cookies. So tasty! Nothing compares to it.

We had coffee and snacks here overlooking the harbour and it was absolutely beautiful. We were lucky enough to be able to sit on the gorgeous deck. Definitely worth the walk to the end of Bannisters Wharf for this café. We found the staff to be very friendly.

I Was so upset by the surly, unfriendly service ... The owner of this coffee shop was outright rude to not just myself and my friend, but to everyone who ordered! The coffee was mediocre ... Sad to say but Starbucks was much much much more pleasant! I strongly recommend avoiding this place!

Friendly fast great coffee. Worth walking out of your way to get to it. Will come back tomorrow for more. Have the expression, it is the best
