Service was great. Fried clams and fish and chips were very good. My friend had a linguini with clams. It was very good, a bit salty. They charged for bread. This is a first. I had broiled haddock and it was tasteless. I would go back and gave the fried clams. Can't go wrong for the price!!!

My favorite restaurant in Newport! Great raw bar! Excellent prices during Happy Hour! Cold beers. Friendly bartenders! Love it!

After the sunset sail, Benjamin's was highly recommended by the sail crew. We took seats on their rooftop which was cozy. Our service and food was enjoyable. Definitely will visit again!

Pub like restaurant across from the main street. Great bar to hang out and watch everyone. They serve fresh oysters and clams , very good.

Have dined here several times, always a great dinner. Portions are very generous and the food is delicious. Great casual spot, come as you are, not the least bit fancy. Very cost in the winter!

Opted for the Philadelphia Cheese Steak sandwich. What was brought didn't resemble any like I've had before! The filling was tasty enough but the bread was too hard to eat as a sandwich. I will not order this again.

We decided to try Benjamin"s after we took a cruise on the Amazing Grace. The restaurant is located across the street from where we were. I ordered the fried scallop plate and it was excellent! I had about seven (large) sea scallops that tasted so sweet. It served with french fries and cole slaw. I might add that they forgot... More

If your looking for a casual restaurant with great seafood priced right then Benjamin's is your place. Nothing fancy but have fresh seafood and other food that is priced right.

Go before 7pm and take advantage of "early bird specials." We had lobsters, stripped bass and prime rib. The "Italian" bread is nothing special. And, we were served the bread only seconds before our entrees were served to us. Make reservations. I don't recall any elevators as one has to walk up a long flight of steps. Putting all aside,...
