We recently visited Newport and felt like pizza for dinner so headed to Brick Alley. We were able to grab two seats at the bar and able to watch a hockey game while we enjoyed our pizza and beer. We enjoyed chatting with some of the other patrons and the bar staff were very friendly. Food was very good (especially... More

If you haven't booked, a 45 minute wait is usual....but , it was worth it. We went on a Thursday night and the place was heaving. The atmosphere is great and if you're a sports fan, you will love the surrounding. There is sports memorabilia everywhere (some signed) - no wall or space has been left. Difficult to wait around... Myself and 4 colleagues went here after a couple of drinks at a conference we were attending. They managed to seat us pretty quickly despite the restaurant being busy. It's a relaxed bar atmosphere, with some interesting wall decor, we had a huge buffalo head above our table. They have a fantastic drinks list (the jerky bloody mary is a... More

Despite the huge crowd of people waiting we were seated within 10 minutes of our reservation for lunch. Waitress was very nice and prompt and the lobster rolls are the best we've had in years - and we've tried many in New England over the past 20 yrs!

Pretty cool old school with lots of memorabilia. The place is packed even in the off season, 25 min wait at 8:30pm. i settled on the plumby's chicken BLT. it was flash friend, not a lot of breaking which was just right. the chicken was juicy and sauce very good. my wife got the lobster mac and cheese. no skimping... We came here this weekend at my daughter's recommendation. Once we arrived, I realized I had been here several years ago and had not been overly impressed. The food is good but not great. The place is noisy and crowded and the atmosphere is nothing special. I had the stuffed shrimp which was just ok. The sauteed mushroom side dish... More

When visiting Newport recently we spent a while looking at different menus and Brick Alley caught our eye, plus it seemed really busy. We had to leave our name with the host and we went to the bar to have a drink until they called us about 10 minutes later, I had a great Apple Martini whilst waiting. The choice... More

We had a very nice dinner at this location. They have a comprehensive salad bar in a large menu. Something for everyone to eat here. Service was great.

My boyfriend loves lobster bisque and we tried it at other restaurants while in Newport and were disappointed. I did some research and kept coming up with the best lobster bisque was at Brick Alley Pub. I decided to choose a lunch place and took him to Brick Alley Pub. We had approximately a 15 minute wait. So we went... More
