If you enjoy fresh fish and tacos you will be delighted with the fish tacos at the Brick Alley Pub in Newport R.I. You might have a little wait to get in if you did not make a prior reservation; however, the atmosphere and cuisine are well worth the wait. Their salads are succulent as well. You will not be... Whether you are looking for a full meal, a sandwich, or a perfectly prepared salad you assemble yourself from a spectacular salad bar (with soup and fresh bread), this place has it all. I was brought here by a local guy, and we were greeted and seated promptly, although it was crowded. We enjoyed a great meal, and were delighted... More

Stopped in on a early Sunday afternoon. So much to look at when sitting at the bar. Many props and signs throughout the place. Cool Sunday Funday vibe. Ordered a moderately spicey Bloody Mary from the very professional, tentative bar woman. Probably one of the best BM's I've ever had. Also had lobster bisque (yum), and baked clams. Both yummy... We stopped here for lunch after reading other reviews - I'm sure glad we did! We ordered the fish tacos and baked lobster mac n cheese. Both were absolutely delicious. The fish in the tacos was blackened schrod. I snuck a piece - very zesty! My husband loved it with the cilantro slaw and salsa. My mac n cheese was... More

My husband and I enjoyed a wonderful lunch here. The place was packed, but the wait was less than 15 minutes, and worth it. The waitress was friendly, knowledgeable, and quick. The food was fresh, and most sauces/dressings were made in the restaurant with fresh ingredients. They have a small garden, and the owner does business with local farmers. It... More

New to Newport. The place looked bright, warm and popular when we drove past. We had to wait a short time for a table in a nice bar area. The lobster roll and bisque were outstanding. The chicken parmigiana was very good. Our waitress was the best that we had on our vacation. This is a casual dining place that... More

My friends and I enjoyed our meals/drinks at the Brick Alley Pub while visiting Newport. Service was great - prices were reasonable. I would definitely return to the Brick Alley Pub if ever I am in Newport again.

So we grabbed a bite here for lunch. The place was crowded but we didn't have to wit too long to be seated. Had a cup of chowder and the lobsacado. I would recommend both. There are many options in Newport, this place is worth checking g out.

A great friendly busy pub/diner. Not our usual type of place ( soup/salad bar) but it was really good value. Really large portions, the pasta and garlic bread dishes were excellent.
