When you have had enough touring the mansions with their butlers pantries, dining rooms, silver and porcelain service and NOTHING to eat, swing over for lunch to this nearby Foodie gem. Get there before 1:45PM when they stop taking lunch orders. The baked goods and sandwiches are terrific along with the coffee and are worth the trip. Try the European... More

We got there at 11:15 on Sunday knowing they closed at 11:30. They only had a few items still available and we had an amazing croissant stuffed with egg, cheese, and homemade sausage. The owner waited on us and she was great. I would go there again in a heartbeat.

The great reviews drew us to this spot, and we were not disappointed. We visited twice, once for lunch and once for breakfast. Both times we were lucky to find parking close by, and both times we also had a very short wait and had not trouble getting a table. The sandwiches are freshly made (allow 15+ minutes for them... Best banh mi I've ever had. Very deserving of its high ranking. Get there by 1:30-- during my visit, they ran out of food before 2.

Our lunch was so delicious and the staff was so friendly to everyone! We got there just in time to get a table because the line got fairly long but it moved pretty quickly as many had called in to pick up orders for carry out. We hope to come back again!

Went on a family trip and stopped here at about 1:30 on a hot, sunny day. The sandwiches were amazing and were well worth the money. The prices are very reasonable, and there is a wide variety of options to choose from.

Stopped in here for lunch with my friend a week ago. I had a delicious sandwich with pears and prosciutto in it. It was so good. We were there around 11:30/12 so the tables were full. I'd recommend getting your food to go and taking in the beautiful Newport views.

Arrived around 12:30 on a cloudy Saturday, and waited 30 minutes from when we arrived to when we had our sandwiches in our hands...well worth the wait. The eating area is very tiny, we decided to sit outside on one of the benches. There is a constant stream of people, the place is very busy. Excellent sandwiches!
