Sandwiches were good but business needs more space. More of a take out place than eat in. More than a couple of orders and wait time for food jumped to 20 minutes. Limited parking but take food to the park to eat. Definitely NOT the number 1 restaurant in Newport.

Spent the day with my sister in Newport and looked to TripAdvisor for advice on where to eat. With the timing of our trip our only option was for lunch and we were really glad we stopped. I would go back and recommend it highly. Just be warned that it is a very small place with very few tables.

The Rosemary and Thyme Cafe was absolutely delicious! Their food was very fresh and unique. The place is small but totally worth it. We got there right before the lunch rush so we got our food within 10 minutes. The staff is so friendly. Definitely one of the best places in Newport!

Saw the reviews on this restaurant so I thought I would try it. The grilled cheese sandwich was so tasty. Love it. A friend had a salad that she said was really fresh. Very pleasant place. Glad I found it

Just had a delightful lunch! Our group had a variety of sandwiches and one was better than the next. The portions were very generous and the ingredients fresh and flavorful. Staff was friendly and helpful. A nice break from standard lunch fare.

I would recommend stopping by this place for lunch. It's off the beaten path of the mansions but not too far away. If you don't mind walking all day then stop here. Be sure to get there right at lunch time. It's a small quaint place but every sandwich on the menu is absolutely superb! Each person in the family... More

Oh my gosh, this place is a gem!!! The food is amazing...AMAZING!!! We popped into this seriously tiny cafe and were hit with a wave of heat coming from the kitchen. It didn't bode well. We got lucky and squeezed into a spot at a little table...and then the magic happened. The girl behind the counter at this incredibly busy... More

Wow. I see why this place is ranked #1. Great food and even better service. Had the house salad and the ultimate grilled cheese and both were delicious. What made this place stand out was the most friendly service we have had in Newport in 2 weeks of eating out. Lived the small neighborhood atmosphere.

My family and I love their sandwiches, These sandwiches are made from the highest quality ingredients, also some very unique combinations that create amazing sandwiches. As seating is limited, we enjoy callng the order in and taking our sandwiches to the beach or park for a picnic lunch. The desserts are homemade fresh each morning and are gourmet.

Thank Walter K
