It was a little late for lunch, we and the 3 kids were starved. Each child belted out a fast food chain in which they wanted to eat. I trusted Trip Advisor and over rode their wants. Each kid ages 12 to 15 ordered something different, as did my wife and I. Not a peep out of them the whole... More

We stopped here for breakfast based on all the other excellent reviews and have to agree this place is great. They were only open until 11 on the day we stopped because they were getting ready to go on vacation. I'm glad we got there when we did. The only hot option for breakfast that day was stuffed croissants, i... More

I visited Rosemary and Thyme while in Newport on November 10. As the Number 1 lunch spot on TripAdvisor, I was looking forward to it. I had been there a year ago and had the grilled cheese, which was gooey and delicious. This time, I tried the TBLT, a turkey, bacon, lettuce and tomato sandwich on crusty bread. I ordered... More

Stopped by for a coffee. Small, quaint place, parking in front. Iced coffee for less than $2. Just as good as the high end coffee shops.

We found this "off the beaten path" small family run restaurant while visiting Newport, R.I. The restaurant is a very small bistro that serves breakfast and lunch. We arrived too late for breakfast; however, we enjoyed a wonderful cranberry-lemon scone while we waiting until 11:00 to order lunch. The lunch was amazing! I ordered a sandwich which was translated from... More

We stopped in for breakfast, this is small bakery, only a couple tables, very quaint. You won't get fried eggs and omelets here, it's strictly a bakery. Having said that, we had breakfast croissants stuffed with scrambled egg, cheese and bacon. They were wonderful. They also offered two other versions but had already sold out of the veggie croissant. There... More

After reading the great reviews on Trip Advisor, we sought this café out for Sunday breakfast. The menu was very limited (stuffed croissants, muffins, etc.) but they were FABULOUS ! Very small establishment, just three tables and a high top, but the folks who worked their were extremely friendly and accommodating. Would love to try their lunch menu in the... More

Both savory and sweets are fresh and delicious. Staff is genuine and friendly. Most people seem to take out the food, but we sat and enjoyed the atmosphere. Not to be missed if you are staying close and want a yummy breakfast. Parking is tight, so walk if you can.

If you are looking for a delicious sandwich, I would recommend visiting Rosemary and Thyme cafe. The location is a little cramped inside - you may need to wait for a seat, or better still, get it to go and sit and watch the world go by. My wife had the Brie and pear. The filling was very tasty. The... More

2nd time I was here for lunch and was more than happy both times. Tiny place. Unique choices. Great quality. Friendly staff. And owner is delightful. This place will be a "Regular" for me.
