My friend had the steak and he loved it. This was almost a year ago but I think I had the breakfast burrito. Either way, it was a great brunch, nice atmosphere, polite staff but a little squishy.

We found this place while waiting for our harbor cruise. We needed somewhere dog-friendly. We were so pleasantly surprised by the menu! There were plenty of $5 entrees, as long as you purchased a drink ($8 without). But we were there for some cocktails! I had a classic mimosa, while my boyfriend has the Man-Mosa (bud light, vodka and Tang)... More

We were looking for an outdoor place for dinner and we had our dog with us. We learned Diego's allowed us to eat on the patio and keep our dog with us so we chose to eat there. The food was good, the service was excellent and the waitstaff was very careful to not step on any paws or tails.... More

I was at Diego's last week and it was yummy once the food was served, The apps came out quickly then we waited almost an hour for our food. We had two kids with us each ordered the children's nachos with chicken one had cheese the other had not a lot. My first visit was better.

We waited close to 2 hours for a table on a Sunday morning. I am fine waiting but they kept pushing back the time after telling us initially only 40 minutes. I wish they would have been nicer and more understanding when we asked for updates too. The food was ok but if it seems busy and they give you... More

I was in Newport and was looking for somewhere for lunch that was not directly a seafood restaurant. Not that easy in the Ocean state by the Ocean. I came to Diego's. The employees were as I ordered a grilled burrito. Oh my! It was sooo yummy and very authentic tasting. Not your typical fake Mexican food. I loved it.... More

The atmosphere is nice and relaxed at Diegos, the outdoor patio area is great and they stay open year round. With a Mexican-American menu, they are serving one of the best brunches around the area. They do a great cocktail special with their brunch menu as well. We've been many times, for brunch & lunch and I highly recommend the... More

Our group of six was seated after a short 15 minute wait on a Saturday night. Full disclosure - It was before 6:00pm. By the time we left the line was quite long. The location is great on Bowen's Wharf so a long wait can be offset by some great people watching or shopping. We started with the Braker's Guoc... More

I've been here multiple times, including on my most recent visit in July. Portions are generous, and the food is always good. Highly recommend the fish tacos. Great casual spot for lunch or dinner.

We went to Diego's on Saturday of July 4th weekend. Which may account for how insanely crowded it was (or maybe it's just that crowded every Saturday night). We had to stand at first but we got bar seats pretty quickly. I ordered the Spicy Paloma because I had yet to meet a spicy drink that was too much for... More
