After 10 days on the road witnessing the Fall in New England we were looking for some unfussy, simple food. We found Busker's at the bottom of the road where we were staying and decided to give it a go. Don't be put off by the slightly dowdy external appearance.......it would be very easy to walk on by. But this... More

I stopped here on a weeknight for dinner. I had a burger and fries which was excellent. The burger was huge and the fries were fresh cut. The service was good, but this is a small place. I was told they have live music later in the evening. I was there about 6:00 pm. I would eat there again, but... More

The atmosphere is great - great Irish bar feeling - be sure to check the menu for the drinks they call the true Black and Tan something else I believe they call it a half and half - it was fine don't mind it with bass but prefer it with harp. Would def go back and experience the food

We were a group of 5 adults and two kids under 4 and we spent a week doing all kinds of things from visiting family to visiting 2 theme parks, numerous restaurants, cliff walk etc. Well when we got to Buskers we were all pretty tired, hungry, etc. Buskers did not disappoint. They sat us in a huge booth with... More

Nice US take on an Irish pub. Good ale and good value, good tasting food - go for the curry or the cottage pie!

Arrived in Newport around 9 on a Friday night and just looking for some quick food and drink. We had been to Buskers before so we went there. It was a nice surprise that they had a band playing. We just had wings, skins, and beer, oh yes, and a pumpkin martini. Not very Irish, I know, but we just... More

Stopped in one night for dinner. To be honest, it was not our first choice, but I didn't feel like waiting for a table to open up at the other establishment. It's funny how things work out. We chose to eat here instead. And it was "OUTSTANDING." Our server was attentive, helpful and pretty funny. The food came out of... More

Great atmosphere in the heart of Newport. Good selection of Irish beers too. Sampled the fried pickles, clam chowder and fish and chips. Pickles and chowder was only OK. Fish and chips were great! Fresh flaky cod and a light batter perfectly fried. So good.

Dinner at Buskers was a real treat. I had the chicken with brie, apples and cranberries and it was amazing. Our side salads which cold and crisp with creamy blue cheese dressing that was outstanding. Our waitress was very attentive without hovering. Wish we had a Buskers in my hometown.

Thank Loucardsfan
