Now this is my definition of a hometown bakery. Lots of displays with bread, cakes, cookies, doughnuts, and other great baked goods. Service was excellent and prices were fair. They do lose a point since the cookies were definitely dry at the time we picked...More

After living in Buffalo near the East Side and going to the local Bakeries we ventured to South Park and stopped in to try the "Polish" Doughnuts especially the Jelly Filled Pacek (pun-ski). Very pleased we did - delish!!!

We stopped here on our trip in New York. It’s a really great place. Walk in and take a step back into the 50’s. They make an incredible rye bread, and many other things. We bought several bakery items and all were excellent. It was...More

I can't speak for any of the other things this bakery carries but me and my partner just purchased and thoroughly disliked a "cherry" cheesecake from this bakery. The crust was soft and squishy like pizza dough, the cherries and glaze were most definitely from...More

Thank you for your feedback on our cheesecake at the bakery, sorry to hear you were so disappointed with the cheesecake. The bakery doesn't make a New York style cheesecake, we do make a polish style cheesecake which is made with a sweet dough crush,...More

As a healthy incentive, Mazurek's offered a buy one get one for either a peanut butter or oatmeal cookie. They were out of both however, offered either a chocolate chip or sugar cookie. I opted for the chocolate chip cookies and also purchased cut out...More
