Food is great, I am not sure it is worth waiting 45 minutes for. Big portions, you won't leave hungry.

Betty's is casual-upscale-trendy. Very nice. They've made a menu that can easily accommodate vegetarian, vegan, gluten free and dairy free diet needs. But anyone will like the menu and they do breakfast, lunch and dinner with a full bar. They have restricted hours if you want takeout. While the breakfast and lunch menus look interesting, we went at dinner. Small... More

Simply, we had a fabulous time eating at Betty's. We requested egg sandwiches with bacon and frankfurter, and they were awesome. The meats were filling and appeared to be crisp and succulent, however I got the inclination the sandwich would have been pretty much as great with just the egg and cheddar. The home fries they accompanied were extraordinary as... More

Amazing lunch visit, in spite of waiting longer than necessary. The staff could be more proactive in clearing empty tables and moving hungry patrons out of the backlogged waiting area. I watched this same lackadaisical approach throughout my time at Betty's. Once seated though, the food is a pleasure to behold! We had the quiche, the tofu peanut wrap and... More

When we arrived, we had to wait for the hostess. She arrived after a while, and gave us a table, without even a smile. Other than that, our dining experience was good. They were able to meet my special dietary requirements, and still serve a really tasty meal (the black beans with brown rice. Who knew beans could taste that... More

We stopped here, based on reviews. We ended up waiting a VERY long time (past their estimate) for a decidedly mediocre breakfast. Don't bother!!

Great breakfast. Food and service faultless. Fun introducing Birch Beer to grandchildren. Yum! Biscuits and gravy were a huge hit.

We visited Betty's with friends for brunch on a Sunday - we were there early (9am) and still had the wait although later I would wonder what the fuss was all about. Drink wise everyone had coffee but I had something called Carrols Cooler (sp) which was a sort of fruit spritzer, non-alcoholic (btw if you want alcohol on Sunday,... More

Our parking valets all agreed that Betty's is the place to go for brunch near downtown Buffalo. We got there around 10 am on Sunday (an hour after openning). You could tell it was the local joint in a reprised house in an old part of the city. Lots of locals: yuppies, young, old, couples, Families. After a short wait,... More

Hostess was unfriendly but waitress was great and attentive. Portions were excessive, and food average. Tried the biscuits and gravy, breakfast burrito, pulled veggie sandwich was best tasting.

Thank emma e

Betty's is located in an historic building in the colorful Allentown neighborhood in Buffalo. A large part of its ambiance is created by exhibits of the work of local artists, which change every two months. Our full service bar features New York State distilled spirits, an interesting and well-rounded wine and beer list and special seasonal cocktails. While famous for its Sunday brunch, Betty's is also a popular place for dinner for pre-theater and pre-symphony patrons, for business breakfasts and lunches and for special family occasions.
