I had stopped here in June 2016 and loved the service and food. Sat at the bar. The bar tender (lovely woman who was so helpful and clearly enjoyed her position) Was so impressed I decided to come back and bring my boss last week as we were considering renting out the adjoining room for a business event. We sat... More

From the friendly and hard working staff to the food Bacchus was excellent last night. It's a 1 minute walk from the 10 day old Westin that just opened up. We had many dishes and each one was excellent: complimentary olive oil, garlic and parsley with the olive bread was a hit for us. We also had the gorgonzola ribeye,... More

The restaurant was a decent set up with and outdoor patio as well. Our waiter was kind of slow and not terribly knowledgeable but OK. The food was OK with the appetizers that were better than average and the wine list was solid but again our waiter knew almost nothing about it.

For starters- Wedge salad... Strong super tangy dressing... but generous bacon chunks and tomatoes plus a crunchy fresh wedge. For my taste...cut back on the sourness.. vinegar? The swordfish dish was plentiful with nice accoutrements but lacked the necessary pizzazz. Nice wines accommodating staff but not worthy of a five star experience.

I suggest you come to Buffalo to eat in this restaurant. The service was excellent and the food was the best I had eaten by far. I am a foodie and this is wonderful food. Thank you so much for a great last night in Buffalo. Now flying back to New York City to sample awful food again!

I was new in town and was meeting a new friend. She suggested a Tapas restaurant, so we went to Bacchus. It wasn't a Tapas restaurant but it was a Italian restaurant. We ordered three appetizers, the Calamari & Rock Shrimp, the Gnocchi "Mac and Cheese" and theFoie Gras Cherry Waffle which were accompanied by a fine pinot noir. Everything... More

We have eaten here on few occasions and found the food to be superb and the service some of the best in town. When all the hot spots are booked, you can find a table and likely exceed what you would have had somewhere else.

My wife and I dined at Bacchus for father's day on our first evening while touring Buffalo, Niagara and environs. We had an enjoyable meal. First, parking is free - just pull up to the curb and you car will be valet parked, something we appreciated as being from out of town. The restaurant offers comfortable ambiance, and the service...
