All the restaurants we ate at during our stay were great, but the meal we had here was exceptional. Fresh Chips and Salsa were served after we sat down. My husband got a 3 sampler of: Chicken Burrito, Chicken Enchilada, and Chicken Quesadilla. It came...with beans and was on two plates there was so much. He couldn't finish. I got the Veggie Fajitas, which also came on two plates, with a salsa salad, rice and beans, guac, sour cream, and was way more than I could eat. The food was so good, we did try to eat it all. The portions were huge, but more important, the food is great. The staff was attentive and kept our glasses filled.More

The pitcher of margaritas was super sour and didn’t seem to have any tequila at all. When we asked about it, our server said it was a “mix” and we could pay extra to have tequila added… the food was “ok”, there were more vegetables...than meat in our three-meat fajitas. I had high hopes and was disappointed. Our waitress was training a new person and seemed they approached the table at all the wrong times. It was just “ok”. Went down the street to have a “real” drink at a corner bar and those were fantastic.More

Three of us had lunch here during the Allentown Art Festival. I realize the art festival made it more hectic than usual, but that doesn’t explain away the disappointment. Our table was wobbly. It had napkins stuffed under one leg. Fix it! I ordered Dos...Equis amber on tap. Waited forever. Then went to the bar to see where my beer was. Told something was wrong with the tap. I said I would take regular Dos Equis on tap. Told that tap wasn’t working. Settled for a bottle of Dos Equis Amber. Our food arrived and it was lukewarm. Restaurant needs to be cleaned more frequently and better.More

We decided to have dinner here outside while walking around. The food was very good. The service was excellent! We ate on a Friday night and the round lady was a great server! We will definitely return when in the area again!

We had a coupon for this place and we decided to try it on a Saturday night. We arrived about 5:30 and there were several people at the bar and only people at one table. We both love Mexican food and I have been told...food here is very tasty. We ordered and we received our plates and there was alot of food on the plate. I had the number 18 which was a taco, a burrito and rice. My husband had the jumbo burrito which took up most of the plate it was on, along with rice. We also had a few drinks and our bill was still only $38.00 Mexican food is very reasonably priced and you get alot for what you pay for food. By the time we left about and hour and a half later the place was packed............must be a popular hot spot downtown. There was alot of younger people in the restaurant, with these huge tower margarita drinks which looked very cool but you need 4 plus people to drink that tower. We enjoyed our meal and will go back again, it was delicious.More

This is hands down our favourite Mexican restaurant to dine in. Decor is very cozy, staff is friendly and service is fast. We appreciate their consistent high quality of food and my favourite dish is Camerones a la Diabla. On my recent visit, I ordered...their Tilapia fish taco which was a treat to consume and got my taste buds super excited. If your heart desires a night of indulgence and your stomach agrees with it. Then go ahead and try this restaurant.More

We arrived in Buffalo alte on in the evening & needed to eat. There are a few restaurants in the vicinity, but most were closing for meals when we tried to eat. Don Tequila were happy to serve us & our waitress was very helpful...indeed. She talked us through the menu which was varied and extensive. The restaurant itself is very basic, but clean and functional. A plate of nachos & salsa appears to be standard. The food we had was a mixture of burritos, tachos and tortillas. All pretty standard. Served with refried beans as a serving on the same plate. Most of the dishes appear to be combinations of these items. All was delicious & the cost was very reasonable. Our waitress even went as far as recommending somewhere where we could eat the next night when she realised we weren't local. Very much recommended.More

The flavors on my pork were great but its just an average place... the beer selection was boring, the atmosphere like any other average Mexican place. The salsa was definitely better than the guac.

While not the fanciest or best Mexican food I've ever had, the food was good and the atmosphere was perfect! My wife and I actually went there twice in the same day while visiting Buffalo for the weekend. The first time was just for a...quick drink and a snack. That evening we returned for diner because we had really enjoyed ourselves the first time. No complaints about the food. It was the kind of sticks to your belly Mexican food that tastes great and pairs perfect with a Margarita. Our server and everyone in the restaurant/bar were super friendly. The entire experience was relaxing and exactly what we needed for our first day in town. The price of both the drinks and food was very reasonable. Many of the negative reviews I read mostly focused on the difficulty regarding the parking. Our hotel was right down the street so can't speak to that aspect but do think it's a little unfair to penalize a downtown restaurant for parking issues. I would recommend this establishment to couples or groups looking for a laid back lunch or evening meal at a good value.More
