Lots of booths which seems to be a high demand. Lots of choices and good portions. Nice atmosphere and very friendly service. My meals have bred very good no matter what I order.

I went to Altons because it was close to my hotel near interstate 90. I like to look for places like this, when I'm driving four hours for business and I'm visiting someplace away from home I want something relatively local, not a chain restaurant that I can have when I am home. This place looked like it fit the... More

This was our first time here. Most places on the weekend are very crowded for breakfast which is the norm. My husband and I ordered eggs, mine scrambled, his over easy. I ordered the home fries. Service was a bit slow but, again, it was the breakfast crowd. My home fries were cold when they arrived. Finally got a waitress... More

We had breakfast there. Very good. Great service. Prices normal. Didn't really look at lunch and dinner menu so don't know prices for them

Ambiance of a Denny's but clean and friendly. We ordered an omelet and eggs Benedict... They were yummy buy nothing to be floored over.

Let me first tell you. Altons used to be my go to place for breakfast. Especially when I wanted breakfast for dinner. However, they got rid of their home-fries/hashbrowns and now serve some awful watery sliced potato side. It is horrible. It is bland, it is soupy and has no affiliation with breakfast as far as I can tell. It's... More

Recently we had occasion to eat @ Alton's for dinner and breakfast. We had eaten there years ago and been disappointed so we were not looking forward to it. We were pleasantly surprised. Service was quick, the wait staff was pleasant and the food good. Sunday breakfast @ 11 AM had a waiting period, but that went quickly. We ate... More

During a family reunion weekend, our family met for breakfast at Alton's. It was a busy Sunday morning and we were a large group of 10. While the service was above average, the food at best was only so-so for us. I personally had the "Walnut & Spice" pancakes - that did not have significant walnuts or spice - and... More
