Love Lone Star! Stared going in the mid 80's! Small dive with best best Tex Mex around! Pico de Gallo rocks and salsa and guac rock!!!

Try the Death dogs, IF you like hot, hot food. If you don't want your mouth/ lips burn off your face, try the Guacamole and chips or Guacamole on taco, etc. Ground beef tacos, fajita tacos are very good. Homemade salsa and Pico de Gallo that varies in spiciness (who ever makes it that day). Looks like a real dive... More

Don't go for the ambience. Spectacular tacos, fajitas and the like. Can't pass up the homemade chips and salsa. A North Buffalo classic. Loved it

They may not have a big menu, but what they do have is amazing & worth the money. their Mexican Burger is out of this world !! You must try it. Chips & Guac/salsa is a great way to start off your meal.

Charmingly dingy, wouldn't want to go after church or anything, or take you new girlfriend's stuffy parents but if you like unreal food, at good prices in an unpretentious but cool atmosphere this is it. Tex mex at its best. Chicken fajita rules, as do the steak fries. Chips with homemade guac are a must, Homemade pico de gallo and... More

Hadn't been to the Lone Star in quite a few years-and the ambiance is the same-worn curtains, beat up door frame, cheap plastic chairs that wobble and cheap plastic tables. It's extremely well-worn, basically clean-part of the ambiance... Service is very pleasant. Menu still had my favorite steak and chicken quesadilla, fresh guacamole and pico de gallo --and fresh fried... More

Considering food alone, this place rates a 4 or 5. Lone Star loses points for atmosphere, unless you're looking for authentic grunge. The fajitas, guac and salsa are good enough for me to ignore lapses in decor, comfort and hygiene. LS must have a solid patron base -- they've been in business since my high school days, now a long... More

I can't believe that this hole in the wall is still open... why hasn't the health dep't closed them years ago... the only authentic thing about this Mexican restaurant is the stomach problems you will get after eating here...
