As crowded as this place gets it is still a must visit for locals and visitors. Big portions for very reasonable prices, but they only take cash. Service is friendly, too.

Probably my favorite lunch place. I crave their vegan "beef" on weck. I LOVE it. I'm craving it right now as I wrote about it. Their other food is really good too, like the vegan Mac and vegan wings. It's a little hole in the wall diner with the absolute best vegan food. I also like seeing all the local... More

This place is amazing!! After reading reviews on Yelp and Happycow.net while searching for vegan food in Buffalo, Amy's kept popping out and sounded great! I was not disappointed after my visit! Amy's is a small busy diner located on Main Street. The decor is simple but the menu is far from it. Vegan options galore stare back at you... More

There are to many to list of my favorite vegan foods, but here are some: vegan beef on weck, vegan Mac, seitan wings (hot or BBQ), and vegan Ruben. They have a food truck.

We went based on the vegan reviews. This is your very typical greasy spoon diner. Good bagel and omelet but for our vegan diner very limited breakfast option. No vegan pancakes. The coffee was not good. The waitress was very nice and gave good service. I was surprised when I said yes to cream in my coffee and she came... More

I went to the University at Buffalo for my undergrad and grad. This was perhaps the hippiest, healthiest, and the most affordable place for the college liberals to sit down and have lesbian waitresses be rude to you while they serve the most delicious fries and lentil wraps and tabouleh. Get the sweetened iced tea, lentil berry wrap, seitan wrap... More

Nice, quirky little cafe/dinner. Hot and cold vegan options and good coffee. I would go back for lunch when in Buffalo again; hummus lacking a bit of flavor.

Amy's Place is popular with the college crowd, as it serves delicious, comforting, unpretentious meals that is reasonably priced. They have a ton of vegan and vegetarian options (vegan Dan Kabobs are so good), but a ton for the meat eater as well. The staff is super friendly and are really good at keeping drinks topped off. Overall, it has... More

One of our daughters, who is a vegetarian, asked to go to Amy's for her birthday dinner. Since a second daughter also is a vegetarian, we gladly went, We had a good time and ate well. This is a very simple place. They do not serve alcohol, so if you want a drink stop before or after dinner. The staff... More
