One of my top 2 favorite restaurants in Buffalo. My favorite place to go New Year's Eve. If you are looking for great food, fine dining and a romantic atmosphere this is the place. Food is excellent, service is superb, waiters are awesome. The Bartenders are very professional and friendly too! I have had filet several times and fish dishes,... More

Outstanding food and service awaits at this Buffalo classic. Everything on the menu is superb, try the spinach loaf (best ever) and the bolognese is always fantastic and very reasonable - love the bar, it's a classic!!

I lived around the corner from Oliver's back in the late 1970's and in Buffalo until 2000, always wanting to go to Oliver's but never finding the right time or persons to go with. Finally, for my 65th birthday, I thought it was time to experience Oliver's. The exterior is essentially unchanged since I first noticed the restaurant, great Deco... More

I have not been here for at least 5 years and happened to pass it the other and thought it would be nice to try it again. . We arrived and were seated quickly; nevertheless, it took forever for the server to take our drink order , when we finally got our drinks , finished, they sat empty, no server... More

We have eaten here twice since the new chef has been in the house and it is nothing but exceptional. The new touches to the cuisine make this the best restaurant in the Buffalo culinary scene. The creativity and quality are over the top! Like the chilled asparagus soup with lump crab, apricots, grapefruit, and shaved white chocolate; the new... More

This Buffalo staple has had a terrific upgrade in terms of the level of menu and food creation, not to mention the delicious quotient. If it was not one of the best before it surely is now. New dishes straight out of the best California cuisine. At the same time the fine dining, exceptional serving, and comfortable surroundings have not... More

Our party of 4 dined here on a Saturday evening. I started with chilled asparagus soup, which was poured over crab and pieces of apricot and grapefruit. Wonderful! I then had the roasted beet salad (red and yellow beets) with peas and asparagus. Really delicious. We ordered a spinach loaf instead of the regular bread ($7 upcharge), but it was... More

Everything about this restaurant was good. The service and food were excellent. The ambiance was comfortable with a bit of 1950s Sinatra feeling. By Buffalo standards it is very expensive; most entrees were around $40.

A Buffalo staple. Consistently enjoyable. Laid back understated elegance. Not cheap but you get what you pay for. A smaller establishment.
