Seabar remains a solid performer for sushi and Asian cuisine in the city. Daily selections are interesting and well prepared and the sushi is straight forward and fresh. Udon noodle soup is a favorite with flavorful broth, toothsome noodles and tempura shrimp. Sake, wine and innovative cocktails are readily available and nicely crafted. Service is efficient and friendly and the... More

I'd actually give this place a 4 stars if it wasn't for reservation and overall hosting we experienced. We were only in town for a day and wanted to have a quick and nice dinner. Called Seabar and were told that they only have sushi bar seats they can reserve for us. Since it was a relatively last minute reservation,... More

We visited Seabar Restaurant on a quiet Saturday evening. The setting is pleasant and conducive to talk. Service was pleasant and efficient. The food was generally good, but not exceptional. We shared oysters on the half shell, which had a good mignonette. The coconut curry soup was delicious, but was almost a meal with the amount of rice noodles. The... More

Seabar is one of the my favorite restaurants! It's seriously phenomenal. Mike A is a genius and I love all of his restaurants. The menu is full of incredibly fresh and unique dishes: sushi, dim sum, soup, oysters, tacos, and fantastic seafood entrees. Each table gets a complimentary bag of curried popcorn while they look over the menu. It's actually... More

This place is amazing. It's one of mine and my husbands most visited restaurants. Every time we come the food is always outstanding and the wait staff is always accommodating. This past time we went we had Nick as our waiter who recommended some delicious daily specials and was all around a fun waiter. The food here is always extremely... More

I have eaten there twice. First time had Dim Sum, Miso soup, sushi rolls. I really enjoyed the 'Beef on Weck' roll (even though I'm not a big beef eater). The veggie roll is good too. On the second visit I had the Thai soup, and it's a pretty large portion and very tasty! I like the popcorn appetizer they... More

I am not a seafood lover, but do eat shrimp. Was invited as part of a group/bday party. Very surprisingly wonderful! I sampled the pork enchiladas and thai coconut curry soup (which I would never normally order because I am not a fan of major spicy food). Both were divine-soup had just enough kick to make it yummy but not... More

Good cocktail menu with some unique drinks. Enjoyed the salad and tuna roll. The service was prompt and friendly. The others enjoyed the coconut soup.

Been here a few times and never disappointed. Seems like Mike "A" and his wife Sherri have a knack of hiring and training those in the kitchen to produce wonderful and creative offerings. Our 6 top was so well treated. Vanessa, our waitperson explained all the differences among Seabars offerings. Sushi, nigeri etc. I personally went for the shortribs and... More
