Went to dinner for family birthday celebration. Lovely place with a great atmosphere. Excellent customer service with a fine dining menu. Recommend the appetizers, soup, and filet mignon. Everything was prepared as ordered and served hot. I appreciated their parking lot behind the restaurant -...a luxury for downtown restaurants.More

I wouldn’t go back. It’s fine dining without the quality. The atmosphere is lovely and the staff are superb, which is why I am giving it a 3 star. The food isn’t tasty. We had meatballs as an app along with shrimp cocktail. The shrimp...was good. We had the lobster soup that was okay. Also salads were also alright. The veal was very chewy. I gave this to my husband . The seafood pasta was not good at all. We had canoli for desert which was tasteless. Even the chocolate chips were not real and tastes like wax.... For the price, I was expecting quality meals. I would recommend they buy higher quality ingredients for their dishes which would make this place a wonderful place to dine. They have the staff, the atmosphere, convenient parking.More

My husband and I went to 31 Club for dinner last Saturday. We were greeted warmly by the staff. atmosphere was elegant and comfortable. Ashley, our server, enjoyed her job and shared a personal side of the restaurant as we were there for the first...time. The dinner was delicious and the best part was the shuttle service to Kleinhan's for a show. Also, the shuttle driver was a gem helping folks off the bus in the rain. I use a cane and had no trouble getting in and around.More

The restaurant used to be great, what happened, the place was empty on a Saturday night. The appetizers were the highlight of the meal. We ordered three steaks that bwere not well prepared, sent bone back. We will not be returning anytime soon.

We used a Groupon here on a Saturday night before heading downtown for a show. The meal was just okay, the service was just okay, but the bill was expensive. For me, it wasn't worth the cost. On the plus side, I really liked the...free shuttle from the restaurant to the theatre district.More

Last night at 31 Club was not great. We had a 5:45 PM reservation so we could take their complimentatry shuttle to a concert. We arrived at 5:41 and were told they couldn't seat us until 5:45 and directed us to the bar. We assumed...that even at an early hour our table was not ready. After waiting for 15 minutes we were taken to our table in a half-filled dining room. No idea why we had to wait. It was just the beginning of our waiting. There was a wait at every stage of the meal. Wait to order drinks, wait for for the drinks, wait for the appetizer (brief), wait for the entree, long wait to get and pay bill. We initially wondered what would we do to fill the time from 5:45 until the shuttle came at 7:30. Turned out not to be a problem. We finished our meal with no time for dessert and went to the shuttle which dropped us off a few minutes before the concert began. The meals themselves were average at best.More

We decided to go to 31 Club for a quick dinner before Sabre’s game. We had drinks at the bar and decided to just stay seated at bar. Bartender s were nice and bar menu was excellent. We really enjoyed the atmosphere and food. We...will return.More

They say short ribs is a house specialty...it was a chuck roast being disguised as short ribs. Our party had all different things and every risotto that was severed was so over seasoned. Each was a different flavor but not good. The chicken dish had...so much garlic in it and it was still raw. The service was terrible it took 15 mins to get our drinks which were watered down and we were not the only ones not happy other tables were complex and it was not busy.More

It was my daughters birthday and we wanted to try some place new. We had a party of 6. My son being the youngest at 13. We had reservations for 6:45. We waited one hour to be seated!! We kept checking with the hostess and...she was clearly getting agitated with us. Finally we spoke to the owner. He apologized and when dinner was over sent over desserts. In all honesty, overall the food was good. The short ribs, filet, and veal were very good. The meat ball appetizer was delicious as well. The pasta Bolenese was way too sweet and had a strange taste. Don’t get it! When we were leaving, the bar area was packed, with a very lively singing duet. They were pretty good! Unfortunately, service was not good. Our waitress would disappear for long periods of time. The entire dinner took three hours! Too long when you’re with kids! All the food took a very long time to arrive. Even though the food was decent, we won’t be back anytime soon. The long wait in a crowded bar was getting stressful and the poor service outweighed the decent food.More

We had a wonderful pre theatre meal here and we’re impressed! The restaurant is very pretty.....actually quite cool. It’s sleek while still being warm. We sat in a banquet booth. Because we were going to see a show, we opted for a lighter meal. Our...selections included a meat and cheese board, calamari, stuffed peppers and steamed clams. They were all delicious and presented beautifully. Very satisfying! The wine list is full of wonderful choices. They also provide a free shuttle for concert and theatre goers. Couldn’t be more convenient.More

To begin with the food was great. My wife & I had the crab legs for an appetizer, tuna steak & scallops for dinner. The food was great. The service not so great. There appeared to be only one waitress on for what seemed like...5-6 tables on the first floor, but also for a party on the 2nd floor. There was no mid meal check-in and we waited for a 2nd round of drinks way too long. The shift manager Greg seemed put off that he had to carry meals from the kitchen to the party upstairs. At one point I asked for a glass of Pinot Grigio and was told that there was none cold & offered me ice for the wine. Who doesn't keep white wine chilled? When you spend $40 a plate for dinner, you expect much, much better serviceMore

We have been to many restaurants over the years as a group of ten people and in other places have gotten great food. This place the service was terrible. We asked several times for drinks and a soup that never came. The food was bland...no flavor, small portions and crazy expensive. The worst food. DON'T GO HERE. Don't waste your time or money. If I could give a negative review I would. So disappointed.More

This nice restaurant is one block off the main street of downtown Buffalo. It is located in a large house that has been converted into a supper club and cocktail bar. As a result, it immediately has a comfortable feeling about it after stepping inside....The bar area is inviting and people in there are very obviously enjoying themselves. The dining area is a largish room with tables spaced well apart. They offer outdoor dining on a patio in good weather as well. Service is good, not rushed. The food is very good and there is plenty of choice on the wine list. This was a return visit for us having dined there two years previously and we were not disappointed.More

Went there to celebrate a college graduation. 6 in our party and seated us in a tight round table in the corner, with no room for dishes or seats. This was after a 15 minute wait to be seated in an empty restaurant. The girl...taking our orders was so rude, took her time getting drink orders and could not tell us what the menu items were. She brought over a basket of muffins, 4 muffins for 6 people, and they were broken and hard. Looked like they came from the last table that was served. Finally ordered the brunch menu, and she totally screwed that up. I have to say the food was delicious. Extremely small portions, such as what you would get in an exclusive dining such as the Bellagio Picasso room. She stepped on my husbands foot several times with no apology. Taking our credit card to pay, she stood in the doorway of what looked to be the kitchen area talking to another employee for over 10 minutes while we waited for her to return our credit card. She deserved no tip, but being my son chose the restaurant we didn't want to complain too much as it was his graduation, so we did tip her sufficiently. First and last time we will ever step foot in that restaurant.More
