I have been here multiple times and it is great. Food, service, and I love the owners! Definitely worth a visit!
Love raclette's! So sad it will be gone. They have the best French onion soup, best ambiance, and best owners.
We did not have reservations so were seated at the bar. This was at 5:00 PM. The bar tender was great. The comfort food exceptional and the wine recommendations also wonderful.
We were really looking forward to going to this restaurant in advance of a concert we were going to. We made reservations 2 months in advance and ended up sitting at the bar for 35 minutes and still were not seated even though we were...on time for our reservation. When we inquired if we could be seated at one of the empty tables for 4 people as we were worried about missing the start of our concert they told us no they were holding that for another reservation. I wish we had that amount of respect for our reservation. We ended up having to leave without eating.More
I apologize for the time it took for your table to become unoccupied. The couple sitting there enjoyed a cup of coffee after their dessert and we never ask people to hurry - even though we sometimes try to hurry them along. We were fully...More
My husband and I had wanted to go here for so long. The food was great. Service was a tad slow for it maybe being a less heavy traffic day, but good food always makes up for that. The menu is unique and the specials...seem to be seasonal. Wine selection is great too. We really enjoyed our fondue as a starter. For something a little different and exciting, a visit here is a good choice. I thought the French offerings were authentic to French cuisine and so did my husband.More
The food was good, hardy and plenty. We ate so much that we had to get the dessert to go. It is a great place for a date or meeting friends.
We recommend Raclettes on Main Street. Chose the Steak Au Poivre while my wife went for Boeuf Bourguignon. Both were excellent. Raclettes has an interesting menu. A great choice if you are a fan of charcuterie and cheese paired with flights of wine. We did...not try but it was evidently pleasing the table next to us.More
After visiting Buffalo last November, I discovered this restaurant and can't wait to be back this year. I reserved table and after I arrived I barely recognized that place. Don't get me wrong, it looks the same but there it end. Service was horrible, we...have to wait 45 min to get table even though I have reservation. After we had been seated it took our server another 20 min to acknowledge us and bring us water. Food was just OK. So I don't think I will waist $100 on mediocre dinner for 3 and rather bring my business to some please where they actually care.More
Great place for a date. My wife and I try to do weekly date nights. Went to Raclettes that past Friday as we enjoy going here occasionally for the good food and the fun we have making and eating our Raclette meal. At Raclettes you...have a choice of a regular prepared French cuisine type meal or a meal that you assemble by heating up meats and vegetables then placing on a crepe with cheese that you have melted. If you go with the Raclette meal a small electric cooking utensil is placed on your table along with a board of meats and cheeses and a bowl of par boiled potatoes. You cut up the potatoes to brown on top of the little stove, then heat up the meats. You melt your cheese in a small tray that goes below the cooking area and then assemble everything in a crepe. This makes for a fun evening while talking and making your meal. We started out red wine flights and an appetizer of mussels and fries. The wine flights are reasonably priced and the wine is of a decent quality. Each flight came with 4 small glasses of wine the we both enjoyed. The mussels and fries were very good. The portion of mussels was quite generous. We then enjoyed our meal and the time spent talking and laughing while putting our meals together. From past experience we found that one board of meats and cheeses is enough for us. I suggest starting with one and adding a 2nd if your still hungry. We finished the evening with a Crème Brûlée. While very good the crackly sugar top was way too thick and hard. This may have been a onetime incident because I don't remember this previously being an issue. I'll try this dessert again when dining here in the future. I highly recommend dining here for the good food, friendly staff and for the fun evening.More
