This is a great little local charm place. Great cowboy decore. Our waitress who I think is one of the owners was super, so kind and friendly even though she was exhausted. She felt like a favorite cousin or something. I had the tomato macaroni...soup, a specialty. They sell the reicpe for $1. I made it at home but it wasn't as good, probably as I made a few substitutions. So nice to be treated normal in this day of Covid overkill. Don't go there if you are going to hyperventilate if people aren't social distancing. This is a real place.More

CDC guidelines were not followed in the restaurant. It’s a small cafe and tables are very close together. We ate there bc of limited choices in town at this time of year. We also ate early so not many in the restaurant but as we...were finishing up people started coming in. The owner worked her butt off and the two workers acted like it killed them to bus tables. The food was normal fair. It was good though. Since it’s a tourist town, we found the food to be very expensive.More

Fun photos on the walls, good atmosphere with cowboy brands, knick-knacks etc. Not a bad place, but we wouldn't wait as long to get in as we did in the future. Again, ok place, but for us we expected more. Service was good and fast.

Me and my family went here and we loved it. They were very kind but not in a clingy way. The decorations were so fun to look at and they had a good variety of food choices.

Delightful lunch! The place felt very clean for Covid19. However they don’t wear masks there. But beyond that....the food was absolutely AMAZING! I ordered their black bean burger with sweet potato fries. It was sooooooo good that I didn’t want it to be done. My...picture was after several quick bites because I couldn’t wait to eat it. My husband ordered a hot beef sandwich and LOVED it was well. Highly recommend!!!More

Many businesses are becoming more enlightened about single people traveling alone, affording them the same courtesies of couples and larger groups. Not the Cowboy cafe. Initially, I was overlooked by 2 employees, standing on my own at the door. When I asked about seating, they...asked "how many" and I replied 1. I waiting while 3 tables were cleared (there was no one other than me waiting to be seated) and shown to a table. After 5 minutes of no one approaching, I got up and got a menu on my own. 5 more minutes and a waitress finally asked if I wanted to order. I politely said I'd decided not to eat after all and left. It was probably for the best - there was no social distancing, no masks or precautions of any kind. And it felt like an unkempt "greasy spoon" kind of place.More

We ate lunch here Saturday. What a good decision! My husband had country fried steak and potato soup. I had a burger and fries. Everything was exceptional. My husband actually said that the soup was the best he has had. We also had the delicious...kuchen and a shake. They were fantastic! This place is a gem!More

I had grilled cheese sandwich and coleslaw. My husband had tomato macaroni soup and fried onion rings My sandwich and coleslaw were ok. Husband's soup was quite good. Onion rings were frozen, not fresh.

Many locals come here. We went here for breakfast. Nothing great. Eggs, bacon, toast, the usuals. Regular breakfast. Would probably not come here again. Cash only. No credit cards.

We went here because we were told it was a local place the locals go. My Belgium waffle was good, nothing special, but wrecked topped with cool whip. My bacon was burnt, and flies kept buzzing around our table. Don’t get me wrong, it was...okay, but a 2nd visit will not be necessary. Service was good, but not overly friendly. I’m sure they spot tourists right away and know they’ll never be back.More
