This place was a very pleasant surprise. I went here with low expectations, but the food, alcohol, and service blew those away. The sushi was excellent, the waiter we had was super helpful and friendly, and they have a fantastic selection of whiskey, sake, and...other drinks. Loved this place.More
Loved it before, still love it now. I love a place that has consistently good sushi. Their special rolls menu is always one of my favorites and all of their rolls has never stopped being just a solid, balanced, delicious roll. Great place to stop....Parking downtown is always the worst, but the food and service is always great.More
Came here for lunch and what a great lunch! Our gyoza hit the right spot after a short drive from Sedona. We both ordered tonkotsu ramen. I had Udon with mine so absolutely perfect. Ok, don’t judge the sushi at this restaurant by THIS review! I did not order sushi… I had the ‘baked green lip mussels’ and as I have spent time in New Zealand I count myself as a connesuer of said mussels. And the mussels here...were ‘uninspiring’ ? They were minced! And appeared to be on shells that, (how can I put it?) were not ‘ endemic ‘ to the mussel. Minced green lips on the shell! The roll I ordered, eel and cucumber, tasted fishy and the rice not so good. Again… I had no sushi, no sashimi. I’m jus’ sayin’ … no to the green lip mussels, no to the eel rolls.More
Had dinner there. Cozy atmosphere. The server was very nice and efficient. All the food we had was great. The next time I am in flagstaff I will eat there again
Excellent sushi, must admit I wasn’t expecting to find outstanding sushi in flagstaff, but raw materials were definitely high quality as especially the Tuna was very tender. I know that sushi in the Arizona mountains sounds weird, but it’s absolutely worth it. Karma Sushi is my family’s go-to restaurant in Flagstaff—we go every single time we are there. The sushi is fresh with good portions; there are very creative rolls; and there...are alternatives (teriyaki, tempura, noodle soups) for those who are not raw fish aficionados. Fun cocktails, and the house wines are nice (great red blend). We recently discovered the happy hour (3pm to 6pm daily), and my daughter and I had a lovely late lunch/early dinner there just last Friday. The shrimp shumai is so good that we each had a portion! We’ll definitely be back next time we are in Flagstaff!More

Thursday evening, not crazy busy, the barmaid did a perfect job of ignoring us, no eye contact, flirting with a handsome man next to us while completely avoiding us. When a runner brings you dinner, it's normal for the server to check to see if...all is good. Didn't happen. Had to wait a full 15 minutes for the rest of our order. I have supposed Karma for years. Amazingly great, fresh sushi. Being from Chicago this restaurant is up to par with our finest. Excellent service each of my four visits and good wines as well. Happy hour a definite plus however limited selections.
Food was excellent but a bit overpriced. My 10-year-old grandson said the service was non-existent and I agree. This includes the manager who was eating during the time we were not being served.
Excellent food! Gluten Free options were really good! All tables had GF soy sauce on them! Staff knew what was GF safe and not! A little pricey but seriously good!
The sushi tasted fresh, but was on the expensive side. If you are looking for the typical rolls, you won't find them on the menu. You may be able to ask the server to have your rolls prepared specially for you, with what you want...on them. For example, we wanted a plain tuna roll. They had on the menu only a mini version of one. They had a full version of a spicy tuna roll, but not a regular tuna roll. So they made one special for us. It was okay. There seem to be a lot of rolls with shrimp on them, or tempura. The Lucy roll was good. To me, not a great selection if you want raw sushi. The bar had a good selection of drinks and beers.More
