Such a great restaurant. The steak was excellent. They offer different rub/style options for the steak at no additional charge. They have a nice selection of sides. The salad bar was top notch crisp, fresh lettuce, lots of topping options. The salads were also excellent. Top quality! Everything we ate was excellent. Our server was also top notch, one of... As it applies to Horseman, our main entrees we're over-cooked, and one of the baked potatoes served had a rot spot in it. The restaurant charges $20 and up for entrees, but the quality of the entrees and salad bar do not justify the pricing. You will fare better at an Outback for less cost. It had a high area... More

If you like the Cowboy style of Rustic Restaurants, this is the place to go and that isn't the best part. The menu is short and sweet, not 30 pages like most places. This place specializes in steaks of many sizes to choose from, also Elk chops, Bison. Salad bar is fresh and has a block of cheeses to slice.... More

Trip Advisor had great reviews and we were looking for a good real meal after a long day at the Grand Canyon. Food was spectacular! Best chicken fried steak and garlic mashed!!! It was bigger than my head and so flavorful. My husband had a chili cheeseburger and almost licked the plate😁 Paul was fun to talk to and a... More

We stopped for lunch here and would recommend it. It's nothing special, but has very friendly staff and decent food. Plus it's the best place around for miles. So while you probably won't think it's the best meal ever, you will leave full and happy. We were there in the early afternoon, and were disappointed by how very long it... More

Being from Texas, I like my CFS, Biscuits and Gravy. This place could be an honorary Texas restaurant. Probably one of the top ten breakfasts I have had. Good food, good service, good prices. What else is there? We'll be back.

We went for a late lunch after visiting Wupatki Monument. The staff were done with the lunch crowd and still prepping the salad bar for dinner, so it was quiet when we were there and a bit slow but very good nonetheless. We enjoyed looking at the interesting decor while we waited. Those who ordered steak were satisfied and enjoyed... More

We were very hungry and got full on the salad alone by the time my steak came I was only able to eat some of it - I also made the mistake of ordering "medium" versus "medium well" which I know is not recommended but it was too pink for me! Next time I would pace myself with their salad... More

We stopped in for lunch after having read the comments on TA. We were so looking forward to a delicious steak but our steak was overcooked & chewy. Surprised for it being a steakhouse. We were very disappointed. Our server was super slow & there was only one other couple dining when we were there so we didn't get why... More

Since their reputation is for great steaks I decided to have steak and eggs with a side of French toast. The steak was cooked to perfection (and I'm pretty picky) and the French toast was a giant piece of French bread made into the best French toast I've ever had. I prefer quality over quantity and this place delivers. My... More

After opening in 1975, The Horsemen Lodge quickly became a popular hangout for Babbitt cowboys working on the CO Bar ranch. The restaurant-named "Horsemen" in the effort to pay homage to the ranching lifestyle-is decorated with authentic cowboy attire, memorabilia, and artwork. This way, The Horsemen Lodge doesn't just offer a hearty, cowboy-inspired menu, but it also offers an overall Southwestern experience.
