Fun atmosphere, great service and excellent food!! We have eaten at Sakura on several occasions ~ as a family and as a couple. Every time we have been here, it has been a great experience.

A couple friends and I went to go celebrate for a 21st birthday and we had a blast! Our chef was Shane and he did great tricks with flames and his knife, really putting a lot of effort into making my friend's birthday special. The food is excellent and it is nice to have the actual chef ask you how... More

We don't go in for the "hoppy-choppy" American-born Tepanyaki table spectacle, no matter how good the food is. But at Sakura in Flagstaff, if you sit at the sushi bar and with your backs to the ceiling-high flames and raucous shrimp juggling going on behind you, you will be in for a real sushi treat. Excellent quality ingredients and an... More

This was a strange experience. From the soup to the sushi there were things that were 'off' and the staff seemed to expect that we would just say "well, ok we are lucky to eat here!" One of our party was brought the wrong soup and the waitress said "I thought that was wrong, but I brought it anyway." The... More

This was our third visit. We'd made reservations but still had to wait 10 minutes to be seated. This was shortly after they opened so not sure why. The food here is excellent and there is a lot of it, once you get it. We received our main dishes almost an hour after our reservation time so plan on being... More

I was in charge of a high school music festival the weekend of February 15-16, and reserved a table for 10 at Sakura in Flagstaff. The clinicians had worked all day, from 8:00 that morning until 7:00 that evening, and I wanted to get them a pleasant meal before they retired for the evening. Our reservation was for 8:00; we... The weekend of Valentine's Day we were extremely busy and your frustration is completely understandable. We were running behind in an attempt not to rush those already dining. Though we did offer complimentary appetizers, the wait with a reservation is disconcerting. We are working with our host team to ensure on busy nights guests with reservations are seated in a... Let us first apologize for your recent experience and assure you that it's not our norm. We have had a challenge the last 2 weekends in February due to Valentines Day in addition to heavy snow and icy conditions (causing guests with reservations to arrive late). This, of course, is no excuse for anything but great service. We hope that... More

My husband and I went for the teppanyaki on Valentine's Day. The food was delicious, but we had bad seats and would've enjoyed the meal so much more if we'd had better ones. You aren't given a choice of where you sit; some folks are lucky and get the good seats, and others don't. Considering we made reservations more than... More

We are pleased that you enjoyed the food during your Valentine's Dinner at Sakura. We do try to accommodate all guests in their choice of seating. On very busy nights, like Valentine's Day, it can be difficult when there are no spare seats available. We also do our best to accommodate guests requests with temperature control -- some prefer cooler... More

Excellent Teppanyaki! Better than Benni Ha ha. Their sushi depends on who is making it. White guys can't jump or sushi so be ware.
