Yum breakfast..lots of choices. Only critisism is wish it was nicer and more organinzed on the patio. There is a flagpole that makes a bunch of racket in the wind which in Flag is ever present.Just some shrubs and such would make it a much...more enjoyable experience out there. And quieting that flagpole. Otherwise really love this placeMore

My g/f and I stopped here for brunch before we hit the road and headed back home. While we did have a bit of a wait it wasn't that bad so we were looking forward to a great meal and that is what we got....I ordered a chorizo omelette while she ordered a burger. Our server was wonderful and right on top of things so we always had what we needed. My omelette was light and fluffy and just flat out great while her burger was perfect and hit the spot. The pricing was very reasonable and you can't beat the location when you are staying at the hotel. Even if we don't stay there again we can see ourselves hitting this place up again.More

We had breakfast once. Covid precautions were being taken. Staff was very friendly. Menu is extensive. LOTS of choices. Hubby had an omellette. He enjoyed. I had the eggs benedict. It was good. The fresh fruit was wonderful. What I didn't like and couldn't understand...was why our food was just barely warm. The restaurant was not busy so I would have expected the food to be much warmer. I don't believe in sending food back to be warmed up. It should be served warm. We moved onto another restaurant for the next 2 mornings.More

My wife and I had dinner at The Northern Pines Restaurant after spending 7 hours on the road. We were welcomed by a very friendly hostess and our server Hannah was excellent, she offered several good recommendations and was able to recite the list of...plethora of their homemade pies. My wife ordered the Northern Pines Salad and I ordered the Turkey Avocado Parm Sandwich; because of Hannah’s recommendations, we split a piece of Strawberry/Rhubarb a la mode pie. We enjoyed our selections and especially the great service from Hannah. COVID-19 protocols were in place, social distancing was followed, and all staff members wore face coverings. We felt very comfortable and safe dining-in at The Northern Pines Restaurant, we will return.More

Northern Pines completely participates in the recommended safety and sanitizing protocols for safe service during this never ending COVID time. That said... the seating was spread out, every booth & chair was sprayed every time someone left. Menus were sprayed. The wait staff were friendly,...masked and very efficient. Food was delivered just as ordered. I had biscuits & sausage gravy with eggs over easy and hash browns. I like hash browns extra, extra crispy & these are probably the best I've ever gotten. Unless you can eat like a lumberjack, order a half order of biscuits. They are about 2-1/2 inches tall & easily 3 inches across, freshly made, fluffy & light... and filling. I could barely finish 1. If you like lots of gravy, they willingly give you extra. My friend had fresh berry filled crepes with whip cream, and they looked wonderful. They were light, not over cooked and the berries were delicious... or so I was told because I was busy wrestling with biscuits & gravy!!! Food came out quickly, was hot and obviously fresh. There is a bar so if you're in the mood for a bloody mary, enjoy! I was driving back to the Phoenix area so passed. All in all, I recommend the Northern Pines. It's easy to get to, right off I-40 on Butler. I'd go back for sure the next time I'm having breakfast in Flagstaff.More

We were seated In the bar area. After 10 minutes, no service. We watched one bartender talking to someone at the bar and ignoring customers. A bus boy (Micha) was cleaning the table next to us. We asked him, do you know who our server...is. His response, “when she gets time, she said she would come over.” It was the bartender Megan. When we asked her about drinks and beers, it was like we were bothering her. If we were not tired after a long drive and meeting people there we would have left. We had to go get her at the bar to get more drinks. Frustration kicked in, and after dinner we went to another location for drinks. HORRIBLE SERVICE. Food was good!More
