Great find. BBQ brisket with coleslaw and seasoned tater tots. Friend had the jambalaya and said it was great. Friendly people with inside and outside searing. And of course, good beer choices. Worth going out of your way for this place. Think owner has a KC BBQ connection plus NOLA. Classic combo. And for those who don't know who Satchmo... More

Best catfish po'boy I've ever had. My entire family loved their menu choices. People friendly, place warm and funky, prices reasonable.

Small place, quick service, good BBQ. BUT the best was the jambalala! Great food at a great price. Must try it.

Stopped hear after a hike in the San Francisco peaks. A mix of Kansas City Barbecue and Cajun food. Had the burnt ends po-boy and Jamabalya with a side of red beans. Enjoyed all of the food. Also offers local beers on tap.

We decided to come here for dinner on our last night in Flagstaff. The food is excellent! Don't miss out on this restaurant. The place is a classic "hole in the wall" restaurant that's part of a small strip mall. Parking is easy and, although it might appear busy, the folks move in and out quickly. We had the ribs,... Wow who would've thought you could mix barbecue and cajun. The smoked chicken poboy was excellent. The catfish bites were great. The mouth and stomach ate happy. Good cold local brew on tap. Small place but worth the wait.

Found this driving thru Flag on our way to Sedona. What a find! Amazing food. Don't let the outside of the little strip mall fool you. The food is great, the service is too. 3 if us had the Beef Brisket and 1 had the Blackened Catfish fillet. Everything was delicious! The potato salad has a kick and the sweet jalapeño... More

This place was awesome! Service was super fast, friendly, and helpful. The family scarfed up a rack and a half of ribs, jambalaya and spicy tots! Definitely will be back when we are in Flagstaff !

Not sure what was better the food or the service. Starting with the service...the young man that took our order was very helpful with menu suggestions. When my husband couldn't decide on a beer, he gave him a sample to try. The food...my husband got the jambalaya and a por boy and I got the catfish nuggets with gumbo! Couldn't... More

Description
A funky little joint, that cooks with love. Ribs, Beef Brisket, Pulled Pork, Jambalaya, Gumbo, Poboys and Veggie options just to name a few! A killer selection of local and regional craft brews. We understand it may not taste just like your Grandma's Gumbo or just like Pop's BBQ. But what we do understand is cook'n with love, just like Grandma and Pop's did. Good for your soul food!
