A funky little joint, that cooks with love. Ribs, Beef Brisket, Pulled Pork, Jambalaya, Gumbo, Poboys and Veggie options just to name a few! A killer selection of local and regional craft brews. We understand it may not taste just like your Grandma's Gumbo or just like Pop's BBQ. But what we do understand is cook'n with love, just like Grandma and Pop's did. Good for your soul food!

This place was so good!!! My whole party of 4 loved every bite. Guy who took our order was very friendly and helpful. We had the pulled pork, half rack of ribs, tater tots, coleslaw, corn bread, and Mac & cheese. Everything was absolutely delicious,...especially the warm tater tots and the huge, very cheesy, clearly homemade Mac and cheese. Would 100% be back if we were locals (we’re passing through on a road trip from CT). Back patio was shady and an overall nice place to sit. Mac and cheese, cornbread, and tater tots are must haves. I never write reviews of places but loved this place that much. If you’re craving some good BBQ and a friendly atmosphere.you’ll find it here!More

We would NEVER have stumbled on this restaurant without TripAdvisor. It barely looked open and is in an odd place. But inside it was awesome, friendly staff, short but great menu. The fish was really good, as was the jambalaya. I didn't personally consider it...pricey for the quality of the food.More

Had the beef brisket and to avoid having to buy a full pound of tater tots we increased the other meal to a large size. ( had catfish and only the catfish came with any side). Both meals were tasty but a bit on the...spicy side. As were the pint of beans. Seating was only outside and it was in the 50’s but at least sunny. We tried to eat as fast as we were able so that we’d enjoy a warm meal. (We mostly succeeded) Service was very good. Other than the cold outside seating and wind blowing everything around, the only other thing to mention is that it seemed a bit expensive for what we got. $45 for the two meals with no alcoholic drinks We do not NOT recommend this place, but wouldn’t go out of our way to recommend it either.More

The food was excellent. We enjoyed the pulled pork and the baked beans were great. The ridiculous part that changed it from a wonderful experience to a ok experience was the fact that we ordered sweet tea and they gave us kiddie cups. This would...have been fine but when we asked for a refill, they stated they were not free. We paid $3.00 for drinks each that didn’t get us through half the meal!!! We ended up ordering 1 more and paid more for drinks than our pulled pork! Just sayin... you would have gotten a 5 star review if you would have had bigger cups or offered refills...More

They did follow covid guidelines which was great. The bbq was very good. I had the pulled pork. Hubby had the brisket. He thought the pieces were cut evenly and the meat quality was very good. We loved the sweet bbq sauce. The beans were...very good. We weren't thinking when we ordered them cause a pint is a lot of beans. We had plenty of beans leftover along with a couple of slider buns and pulled pork so we did get two meals out of our dinner. However with just a bottled water and an Arnold Palmer our meal came to $39.53 before tip. That just seemed like a lot of money to spend for bbq. I am basing my review on the food which was very good. As for value I would give it a 3. We would not return.More

We are so delighted we found this place near Flagstaff!! We sat outside in the evening and enjoyed a phenomenal meal. Everything was very fresh and brought out rapidly. We loved the beef brisket, pulled pork, the cornbread, and the blackened catfish on jambalaya! Everything...was so flavorful, the meet was tender, and we went away satisfied and full. Prices are very reasonable. I hope I can return soon!More

Cajun + Q - great combo. Longtime local joint - smokes own meat. Menu a little limited right now but core items available including smoked meats, terrific family-style sides and a few Cajun items. Meat tender and smoky, choice of sauces. Vinegar-based slaw has good...tang abd kick from an occasional jalapeño. A few local brews and some from Louisiana. Outdoor seating- get there early! Highly recommend.More

I was coming back from the Grand Canyon and had to get some BBQ in the area. I was able to book my order online fast and painless. The site told me that the food was going to be ready in 20 mins. I go...and pull up around that time, the parking area was small so I had to find somewhere to park. The nice worker brings my food and I went back to the inn to enjoy some Ribs and a pint of Beans. The ribs were great and they provided sauce options and napkins. They were very considerate by also packaging plastic dinnerware. The beans were a showstopper. They had a nice smoking taste to them and they were just blissful to eat. I would recommend to go there if you are passing time. The price couldn't be beat for the quality you get.More

We are visiting a bunch of national parks and staying in town for a few days.  Came here for an early dinner.  We had blackened catfish, pulled pork w a bunch of different sides.  The seasoning on the catfish was nice and spicy but a...tad too salty.  The fish itself was tender and fresh.  The house seasoned tots were awesome.  We didn’t care for the corn bread that much.  The coleslaw was nice; I didn’t get it because I thought it may have too much mayonnaise but wished I did.  Kids loved the Mac and cheese.  The pulled pork was tender, flavorful and the perfect with either the sweet or spicy bbq sauce.  I tried and didn’t care for the jambalaya; it had way too much vegetables for me.  It’s kind of fast food-ish because you order at the front counter and pay before you sit down with a number.  We loved the decorations in the restaurant.  We would love to come back to try more stuff!More

Stopped in for lunch and got the Andouille Po’Boy sandwich with red beans & rice & seasoned tots. My wife got the pulled pork with cornbread & mac n cheese. Everything we ate had excellent seasoning. The andouille sausage was not too spicy or over...powering as some can be. The beans & rice were spot on!! My wife enjoyed the pulled pork & mac n cheese. I ate the cast iron cornbread plain and it was moist & tasty. Everything was clean & folks friendly & helpful. Definitely worth a try.More
