I end up here about once a month, so I am surprised that I have not reviewed it before. I am almost always here for lunch, and my go to combo to split with someone is an order of dolmades (stuffed grape leaves) as an appetizer. I then get the seared tuna honey sesame salad that comes with mango, pineapple,... More

For the past ~3 years I have made Pita Jungle a regular stop when I am traveling through Flagstaff. The menu offers quite a few choices, the food is flavorful, prepared in a healthy style and served hot. The service is prompt and friendly. Altogether, a winning combo.

I was in the mood for middle eastern food - and the pita jungle certainly delivered...and then some!.., My friend and I shared the sampler platter and each had a cup of coconut curry soup.., We were instantly transported to Thailand, Italy and of course - the Middle East!...we added the garlic dip to our order late, so we also... Had an awesome meal with my wife and best friend. Our server, Libby was friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. We enjoyed a tapas style meal of hummus, domades, grilled veggies, grilled mushrooms(a must have!)and a pesto pizza. All of our food was perfect, the ambiance was relaxing and pleasant. This is a restaurant I will gladly visit whenever I an in... More

Stopped in not knowing what kind of food it was and was pleasantly surprised to find it was Mediterranean. I had the Shrimp appetizer along with the pita crisps and they were delicious. We also had the mixed plate with Hummus, Tabouleh, etc. and thoroughly enjoyed it. Place has great atmosphere and is located in a small Mall across the... More

Typically there is no reason to go to a Chain restaurant in Flagstaff as there are so many unique, one of a kind dining opportunities. But Pita Jungle at the Aspen Place on Sawmill is the exception. My wife has a variety of dietary preferences from Gluten free to Sustainable/Healthy dishes. This Pita Jungle restaurant hit them all! Wide variety... More

Very friendly and the food (mine had lamb & tzatziki) was perfect! Stuffed with fresh vegetables and the meat was juicy and flavorful.

The first time we went here the gyros were terrible. This time they were great. Everything about them was so much better. The management must have had a talk with the cooks about how they to be made. The sandwiches had more meat and was cooked correctly. The sauce was perfect. This is how a gyro should be made. Will... More

I was in the mood for something healthier than the usual roadfood I settle for while on the road. This hit the spot perfectly. I started with the Cilantro Jalapeno Hummus, which I could have had as a meal, it was so good. Best hummus I've ever had, a seriously fresh tasting combination. I finished the meal with a Mediterranean... More

Ate here on April 11. We had the gyros and they were very disappointing. The meat on the sandwich was dried out and it was burnt on the edges. The Tzatziki Sauce didn’t even taste right. It tasted like ranch dressing. Had gyros at other Pita Jungles and they were excellent. The quality of the sandwiches here were not even... More

Hi Ken, thank you very much for bringing this to our attention. We are very sorry the gyro and Tzatziki weren't to your liking. We make our gyro's and other items to the specifics that all locations do, so we are confident this was an anomaly. We will be checking with our cooks to ensure they are following the guidelines...
