We visited Taverna while stopping at Flagstaff on a road trip. There were two couples and we arrived relatively late in the day, but the staff were lovely and the food was good and cheap! Each couple paid about 30 dollars with tip and left full and statisfied from a tasty meal. I'd recommend this place for fresh options to... More

There are a host of great places to eat in Flagstaff- this place is a must! Great fresh pita's and delicious gyros. The prices were very reasonable - great atmosphere and wonderful fresh food with a friendly staff.

Met a large group of friends here for dinner and was thoroughly impressed. Wait staff was friendly, efficient, and accommodating given we were a big group. Food was also very good. Would definitely eat here again if I lived in the area.

Quick service and good food, especially the gyro plate. Try the Humphrey's burger and see if you can finish it:) No Rodity's wine:( Lighting a tad dim.

The food here isn't bad, it's just not noteworthy. Although they characterize themselves as Greek and Mediterranean, their offerings are slightly Mediterranean with a lot of predictable bar food you might find anywhere. They do have good happy hour specials that are a good value before a movie.

We ordered Gyro and Chicken/beef souvlaki. Both meals had lemon favoured potatoes which were underdone. Meat was ok, beef a bit tough, vegetables very good. Just too much food, as has been our experience in American restaurants generally. Take home boxes are the norm, rather than the exception. Staff very efficient and pleasant.

Been here twice in past month. Service is excellent. Food is just good not great. Busy, a little noisy, large bar area with big screens. Lots of Greek influenced items on menu but number which are not such as Pepperoni pizza. Something for everyone.

It was my first time to eat greek food so I wasn't sure what to expect. The gyro plate was great and the pita bread is delicious.

Good service. Food came out quickly with large portions for the price. Gyro meat was a little dry and the grape leaves a little salty, but otherwise delicious.

The menu at Taverna is more of a mash-up of American food than Greek food. That can be a good thing if you have a large group or kids with you but not if you are looking for inspired Mediterranean cuisine. Set your expectations correctly and just enjoy. Food was fresh, seasoned well and service was prompt and friendly. The... More
