This is a meat & three in a basic cafeteria space, but the food is what you go for! They serve excellent home southern cooking and it is DELICIOUS!

The location and outside of the building might scare you away. But if you make it through the doors, you'll find food that you won't find elsewhere in Murfreesboro. Fried chicken, barbecue, chicken and dressing, black eyes peas, pinto beans, turnip greens, mashed potatoes, macaroni n cheese, fried corn, cooked apples, cornbread, and don't forget dessert - peach cobbler.

We stumbled on this place. Don't let the outside scare you. It was possibly the best fried chicken I have ever had. The locals were friendly and the staff was fun. Affordable and very delicious. Don't miss out on this small gem!

If you want fried, barbeque, or chicken and dressing, it don't get no better than the Klee-Vu Lunchroom. Their turnip greens are the best you'll ever eat!

Delicious home cooked meat and three restaurant. Great local dining place! Lots of variety in meats and vegetables. The fried chicken, macaroni and cheese, fried apples and hot water cornbread were the best! I highly recommend this place if you are in Murfreesboro. Get there when it opens!

Better than the place 3 blocks away but still not great. I've actually had better soul food in neighborhood places in Irvington/Newark, New Jersey and Brooklyn, New York. That being said, this place is like a throwback to the past. Service is friendly but they do move you along even if there's no one behind you. So you better figure... More

Cornbread here is a 10!! Chicken and fried corn were very good!! Atmosphere is not great, but that's not the point at a place like this. It's for the locals that want a good meal for less$. If you like these kinds of small family businesses then you should just try it!

The Kleer-Vu is a place of paradox and somewhere caught in time and attitude of mortal existence. The food, some people call "Soul Food" is in fact the same food that all Poor, Working Southern Folk, Black & White ate from the 18th century to today. The only extravagance from the "Historic" period is the liberal availability of chicken. In... More

Kleer-Vu Lunchroom is basic Murfreesboro. First...let me tell you about the cornbread. It's hot water cornbread. I don't know what that means, and I don't care. The cornbread itself is worth the trip. Green beans were great; loved the mac and cheese. Fried chicken is a good staple too of course. Local dive? Yep. Worth it.
