The most disappointing restaurant experience in 50 yrs. To start the food was below 1 stars, it had a spoiled odor and didnt appear to have been properly prepped to be what i would consider sanitary. The staff was ok but the manager or owners...attitude was horrible. Rude unpleasant and smelled like tbey had not bathed in days. Just a nasty place, nasty food and a nasty owner. If someone gives you a gift card to here throw it away dont give it to a starving person as they have enough problems without being subjected to VictoriasMore

Terrible food. Not even close to fresh, the food smelled spoiled. The owner was rude and a liar. Seemed to just make stuff up as she went along. Poor culinary skills and a dirty looking staff. Never again i was so nervous i called the...health dept.More

Come here with family when we visit Scranton every year. Last time had lunch here which was good. This time we had breakfast. I had the blueberry pancakes and they were the best I ever had! The blueberries must have been fresh because they made...the pancakes so sweet! Didn’t need butter or syrup they were so sweet. Everyone else had eggs and I heard no complaints. Service was good.More

We were visiting Scranton from out of state and my two sister-in-laws come here a lot. So they took us. Food and service were excellent. In fact I was looking at my iced tea and the ice was all melted. Just that second our sever...came with more ice for me and water for the others. Like they were reading my mind! After we ate they brought us each a cookie, mints and tootsie rolls. Now I’m not sure if everyone gets them or if it was because my sister-in-law knew the owner. Would definitely come back again.More

I walked into the Cafe to order a gluten free cake. Two girls came in grabbed drinks and sat down at a table. I waited five minutes until anyone came out to assist me. When someone finally did come out the women started yelling at...two young girls who walked in. She yelled at them and said "What are you doing?! We bring you your drinks!". It was 101 degrees outside by the way. Then she looked at me and said guffly, "What do you want?" I told her I wanted to buy a red white and blue gluten free cake for my wife like I had last year. She sighed and said "I don't have time for this. Your gonna have to call back later. " Then she turned around and went to the back. Leaving me alone in the Cafe.More

We wanted to find a good breakfast place in Scranton. We lucked out when we found this place, on the first floor of the PNC Bank Building and less than a five minute drive from our hotel. Parking in the back or on the street....Mom and Pop place. Fifteen tables inside and 5 tables outside on the patio. We were the only ones in the place at 8:30 AM to sit down, but they were beyond busy with people coming in to take out and lots of catering orders as well. Ample menu with tons of things to choose from. Pancakes, french toast, omelettes, eggs any way, breakfast sandwiches, oatmeal, muffins, fruits, juices, so much to choose from, even combo plates which were beyond plentiful. My son and his friend had a great breakfast, totally stuffed, as did I. The owner came over to talk with us, very friendly, curious to know where we were from and why we came to Scranton. Incredibly friendly and very welcoming. This place is great. If you're in Scranton either for pleasure or business, you must check this place out. Excellent food at extremely reasonable prices. They also have an extensive lunch menu with tons of healthy options.More

Beware of the extreme rudeness and gross disrespect! My husband made a reservation for brunch on Father's Day. Before I could even say good morning I was told " I can't take you" and the woman walked away. Then I walked over to the counter...to explain that I already had a reservation and I wasn't a walk in, she said I can't take you we are behind. There were several empty tables in the restaurant so I'm not sure what this was about. Even if she over reserved the restaurant there is a certain level of customer service that should be shown to all patrons entering your establishment. Clearly, they don't want to be in business long. You will never get my business again nor anyone I come in contact with visiting Scranton. On my way out, one of your customers could not believe how I was spoken to and they felt offended too so they recommended the restaurant across the street and she said "they will take you" which turned out to be the perfect choice.More

Dear Ms. Monteil; Sorry you had an unpleasant experience. Reservations are all taken and recorded and because of the quantity of reservations we have no way to confirm them.

This is a good place to go if you have a lot of time. There was only one waitress at lunch time. The place was crowded. The problem isn't the waitstaff, it's the kitchen. It's very slow and takes quite a while to get your...lunch. We were on lunch from work and ended up having to take ours to go. When we went up to request our order to go because we couldn't stay any longer, we could hear the owner in the kitchen complaining about our choice to take our food to go. There is a lot of turnover at this restaurant because the owner is a nightmare!!! The food is really good but the wait is long and as I said, it's a well known fact that the owner is anything but pleasant.More

Ladies lunch group decided to try somewhere we'd never been. Great choice! Service was outstanding and food delicious. Had one of the specials -a ham and grilled cheese with apple slices on cinnamon raising bread - it was delicious! Tomato basil soup was fabulous too!...Extensive menu. We were treated to warm cherry buckle that was delicious! Highly recommend if you are in downtown Scranton.More
