Breakfast is Great!

I had to ask about where to sit at the restaurant at 6:30 on a Sunday as there didn't seem to be anyone about. Patrons who came in after me were as equally befuddled so it would have been helpful to have at least 2 wait staff at hand so one could act as host, get waters, coffee, etc. The... read more

Something's happened. I'm not sure what. But the night we were there the usual staff -- efficient, friendly, and knowledgeable -- was not on duty. Have they left? The person who replaced them was nice enough but clearly overwhelmed. And there were only two or three tables of diners. The food was far below the usual standard. It felt as... More

Excellent food and service. Everything was fresh and well prepared. My husband ordered the rack of lamb- which was one of the specials, it was perfectly seasoned and cooked to his specifications. I ordered the Pappardelle pork bolognese and it was phenominal. We also ordered the Calamari and it was fresh and tender, the sauce was great as well.

First of all, the staff was great. But they ran out of quite a few items on menu. We were there at 6:30. It was our anniversary a few days after Christmas. Everything I wanted they were out. I chose a beef stuffed with Crab or Lobster. Done too much and there wasn't hardly any lobster in it. Just about... More

Lovely menu. Fabulous soup of the day, signature salad was perfect! Italian dinner was unbelievable, 1/2 portion was too much! Worth the trip to this lovely old train station. Service was top notch! Bravo!

The menu was varied but both our Italian entrees were very good. The Bolognese was fresh with just the right amount of tomato and the Short Rib Ravioli was perfect for a Fall meal.

Great menu. Quick service. Food was high quality, including some locally sourced entrees. The meal was affordable and some entrees were offered in half portions giving even more options to save a buck or two.

Ours was a party of 3, for 3 days. I ordered scrambled eggs, bacon and toast. The meal also came with hash browns. The bacon was good. The toast was burnt. The hash browns tasted like they were several days old and the eggs.....well, whatever was put on my plate it sure wasn't eggs. It didn't even taste like egg... More

When it says they are open now. If you are here on Sunday night, they aren't. Since Trip Advisor insists that I write at least 100 characters, I'll say it again: don't trust Trip Advisor.

I had dinner at Carmen's and was waited on by Judy, Ed, and Frank. It was indeed pricey but that's what we were expecting, and the food was delicious. It was Commencement weekend and thus a special, shortened menu, but we still enjoyed it. These three who served us were extremely friendly, helpful, attentive, and obviously care a lot about...
