I eat here virtually every time I am in Scranton for lunch. They have a wonderful variety of foods including some not generally available in your traditional franchise Mexican restaurant. I particularly like the Menudo when the weather is cold. They have tacos made with beef tongue as well as posole. I've never had a bad meal here. It is... More

All the food at Chicano's is great, but their carnitas is by far the best I have ever sunk my teeth into. Their service is great too.

Love this place since it was at the old location. I am addicted to the spicy pork taco's. We love the burritos, flautas, ciles relleno, great dinners at great prices. The place is very clean and the service is friendly and fast. Don't hesitate to try it. Family oriented atmosphere. Very nice owners. Can't wait to go back.

I read the reviews and decided to give it a try. There is no doubt that the the food is home made but it totally lacked flavor. I was looking for some real kick and and didn't get it. I am starting to think all the great reviews are planted.

After a disastrous dining experience at Don Pancho Villa and an unexpected extra night stay I decided to try out this place. Well happy to say was not disappointed. Coming from Jackson Heights, Queens were Spanish is king I certainly know about authentic Mexican food. I ordered the plate of Carnitas and they came out PERFECT! Nice and moist just... More

I've eaten Mexican food all over the country and in Mexico. This place is fantastic. What it lacks in presentation it more than makes up for in the quality and taste of the food. it is authentic homemade food served with a smile in the sense that they really value your presence. Don't misinterpret the lack of ambience it is... More

We love Chicano's! It is consistently delicious. The prices are reasonable and the food is always quick and hot. Definitely recommend this to anyone in the mood in the Scranton area.. Way better than any chain!

Pretty good place. Liked the authenticity right off the bat. Chips and Chipotle mayo was nice and spicy. Just right. Waitress not bad, but not friendly. Just doing her job. Buffalo wings were odd... not bad. Plenty of meat, but sauce tasted EXACTLY like Campbell's tomato soup with no extra seasoning. Burritos were packed with ingredients and flavor. Couldn't finish...
