In downtown Springfield ' s Italian district is La Fiorantina bakery. There's way too many delicious treats in this wonderful bakery, you simply put Need to go and shop til you drop. You can't possibly leave without trying the Almond cookies or the chocolate enrobed canoli's, and be sure to take home a slice of the Fruit cake it's worth... More

Chocolate Ricotta or Whipped Cream and Fruit cakes- I'm not sure which I love more. But it doesn't matter. This is an old school Italian bakery and the pride they take in everything they put out is so obvious. Whenever someone new tries these cakes- they become believers. Just get 'em. Yum.

Went with my daughter for canoli and iced coffee. I had the canoli with chocolate chips and powdered sugar on the outside and she had the chocolate dipped with chocolate chips. Both were delicious. Kinda expensive, but a special treat.

Not a good place to shop if you have nut allergies, but they do have a couple of options. They have a large selection and I have had cannolis, mouse cake, and puff pastries several times. The prices surprised me because they were extremely reasonable (under five dollars) for very good quality pastries. They give off a friendly vibe.

wonderful Italian pastry. Some things a little pricey, but Italian pastry usually is. Good rum cake, fruit cake(the kind with whipped cream),cannoli, etc. Location is downtown, sometimes parking could be a problem.

Ordered the largest sheet cake, whipped cream, strawberry and peach filling. Served 72 people. Not a bite left on the tray. Excellent bakery, fantastic Italian baked goods. Incredible Cannoli's. Best bakery in the Valley.

I stop here anytime I visit my MA family, but I go to the East Longmeadow location. Their cookies and pastries speak to my Italian roots, and makes me feel connected to my gramma who passed a couple years ago. She loved this place, and we used to treat ourselves together when I visited. The fruit cake (not like a... More

My Italian friends told me about La Fiorentina for years. I finally went to checked the place out. The pastries are unbelievable and the staff very helpful. Unfortunately the cafe was being remodeled. I will go back whenever I'm in Springfield.
