Springfield has many great places to eat and this place is a MUST. EVERYTHING about it is great, staff are friendly, plenty of parking, easy to find, great prices, and you can bring your own drinks. I've tried many dishes and have never been disappointed. You want great tasting New Orleans type dishes check this quaint place out.

Went on a date to Chef Wayne's Big Mamou and felt as though I was in New Orleans. The service was fantastic, the food was even better, if you have not tried this place, you need to get there fast! It's awesome.

Lousiana cooking in Massachusetts how delightful!! I love this food! The serving sizes are more than what you can ask for! I grew up on creole cooking and the food tastes just like my grandmothers! The atmosphere is pretty relaxing although the should move into a bigger place. Business is growing! Any local will tell you to come HERE!!!

Big Mamou was recommended to us by a client. We went on a busy Saturday night and had a short wait for a table for 2. The place is in a stripmall type setting and smallish but the food and staff make it a big experience. I've not had authentic Cajun food previously so I was a bit hesitant. I... More

In my place of work, we always scheduled a lunch once a month at Big Manou. I have never been disappointed and I have been visiting for severa years now. The only disadvantage is the size of the restaurant and there is always a pain to find parking.

Delicious food and great music. Friendly staff and most importantly the food was seasoned to perfection. Even met the owner! You must get the Jambalaya and Gumbo. Will be back again when I'm back this way. Prices were righteous! Happy and Full 😀🍽

Guess you already know I love this place. It is funky, fun, flavorful and fabulous. The ceilings have advertizing labels painted on the drop ceiling squares. The restroom is a semi-psychedelic tribute to New Orleans. The waitstaff is happy and helpful. The food is the BEST. I had House Jambalaya with sausage, shrimp and chicken. Yummy. The other folks at... More

Met all our expectations, outstanding jambalaya. This was our 1st visit, won't be the last. Good food, good service.
