Had a great Caesar salad -good portion- very reasonable prices for Alaska. All tables get chips and homemade salsa since it's a unique Mexican and Italian restaurant. Highly recommend trying this great local place just outside of town.

Wasn't disappointed. I was staying next door at the Sitka Eagle Bay Inn and needed dinner. I was hoping to dine and have a beer at the Harbor Mountain Brewing Company near the hotel but even though I got there at 745p, I was told...they were done making pizza for the night. I'm a solo traveler, was hoping for a freshly-made pizza with a local beer, but I was out of luck. So I went back to my hotel, walked a couple of doors down with the intention of trying my luck at the pizza place. Turns out they had Mexican and decided to have that instead. Reasonable prices for Sitka, Alaska. Certainly in line with NYC prices, but definitely high compared to the rest of America. On the other hand it's Alaska, and everything costs more in Alaska! Good service. Wide selection of Alaskan and non-Alaskan beers. And I enjoyed my dinner. Was a little surprised by the 6% "summer tax" surcharge on the bill. (My hotel charged a bed tax, so it's definitely a case of hit the tourists in Sitka!) No complaints. And if you're hungry and want good food, I don't think you'll be disappointed.More

We've been going to Pizza Express for over 10 years but I think we're done. The last three times we ordered delivery they forgot to make one of the dinners/pizzas and never noticed. I could understand once or twice.. but three times in a row....And when we called, the staff didn't seem to care.More

Excellent staff and good quality Mexican food and Pizza. Very filling and tasty! Bar also had a great selection of Alaskan beers on draft.

Pizza express fast became our “go to” grub hub. The food was absolutely amazing. The menu is expansive and the delivery service was fast and efficient. We ordered meals at least 5 times. The prices were responsible and the staff very friendly. Did I mention...the food was AMAZINGMore

Sitka Pizza Express- DISAPPOINTED. Zero vegan friendly options besides the recommended salad. No meat, cheese, or sauce alternatives. It’s 2021, update your menu to something cleaner.

This isn’t a fancy restaurant but is a nice, solid Mexican restaurant that serves pizza. My husband and I were staying next door at Eagle Bay Inn and went at 2:45PM for a late lunch. I had the $12.50 2-item lunch special and my chicken...burrito was loaded with shredded chicken and my shredded beef enchilada was even better. Refried beans, yellow rice and a small lettuce/onion/tomato “salad” filled out the oval plate. My husband got the $22 Juan’s Special medium pizza and each slice had a fresh (uncooked) tomato slice on it. We picked those off and ate them separately. When we first sat down the waitress brought us a basket of chips and 2 salsas (regular and hot). We devoured those and weren’t offered more which was just as well! We took half the pizza with us for supper later in the day. My husband ordered a $3 Diet Coke fountain drink and asked for his (free) refill in a to go cup and that was readily provided. Service was prompt, courteous and professional.More

Have eaten here for years. The last several years things have gone downhill. The food is over priced for quality. The wings were gummy and cold. The food all has the same old grease taste. You can’t eat left overs because it grease congeals. It’s...American Mexican not authentic. Most is not homemade. The burgers taste like frozen commercial bought. It would be nice to have a real fresh made burger. Real authentic touches would be good like Mexican cheese and fresh sauces. Homemade chips not bulk bought. Our taco salads were mushy and watery. Mostly beans and burned taco shells. We keep ordering hoping for a better outcome but it’s always the same. Too bad. Sitka is deprived of quality food so we settle for less.More

I got several Pizzas from here while I stayed in Sitka. I would buy the Mini 3 item pizza for $11. it was good for the money

I have eaten here many times over the past 3 years. I have always enjoyed the pizza and Mexican food. This trip I ordered the all meat pizza and while it was good, it was not as good as in the past. There were a...few spots that had little or no toppings, but overall it was tasty. I will go back as it was far from horrible....just not the best day for them.More

I have tried everything on the menu from the burger to the enchiladas and they are extremely consistent and delicious. The only place in town you can get a pizza for 11 dollars, and it is enough food for two people AND delicious. There is...something on this menu for everyone in the family. If you are from out of town and looking to eat out in Sitka don’t look any further than pizza express. You could order something different every night of the week and have a great dinner every time. Also I am very impressed with how they are handling the Covid 19 situation.More
