Dinner was once again....EXCELLENT! The pork chops, mashed potatoes and the green beans were done to perfection. We love eating at Gathering Grounds, the atmosphere and the staff are just the best. They are the standard to beat in this town.

This cute little cafe offered a limited but adequate (and delicious) breakfast menu. The breakfast burrito and the quiche were both delicious. I'd go back!

Best breakfast burrito ever we would just walk down town and have breakfast or call our order in and eat on the way to our hiking destination

OmG the blackberry cheese danish was outstanding! The snicker doodle was good. The coffee was delicious. I believe the panini would have been a five star but we got it to go and didn't eat it at its peak. My only drawback was the take out was a bit slow.

I had a great first impression when we walked in. Gathering Grounds has a great feel to it. It is decorated but not over the top. We were greeted with a smile and seated. We had heard there were crab cakes and so we both got them. I got the rice and green beans as sides and she got the... More

I recommend the Cobb Sandwich and bourbon pecan choc pie. My wife had the Black Bean Burger which she very much enjoyed.

We had lunch here today between a visit to Luray Caverns and a hike in Shenandoah. We each had a sandwich and the kids and I split a piece of peanut butter pie for dessert - yum! We would definitely go back. We got there at the early end of lunchtime (around 11:30) and were seated right away but it... More

Great place for coffee and breakfast in Luray. Literally, best pumpkin scone ever. Love this town full of locally owned businesses, and this was cream of the crop.

My friends and I stumbled upon this spot as we were walking around exploring parts of Luray. They were close to closing but were still accommodating for us and provided great service. The food was amazing and there was such a wide variety of soups, salads, and sandwiches. Great choice of beers and drinks. Oh, and the desserts were pretty... More
