My husband and I popped in this place after visiting Shenanoah National Park and Luray Caverns. Easily located in downtown Luray, the motif of this place is very charming and the coffee, beer selections, desserts, and service were superb. I had the chocolate pecan pie and it was so beautifully rich that I should have shared it, but it was... More

Food was very good but it was a bit pricey for a sandwich joint. My husband and I had a sandwich each, with tea and 1 order of fried jalapeño poppers as an appetizer. That was over $30 (including tax).

We came here for lunch on Sunday and the place was packed! We sat out back on the small patio, despite it being a very hot day, umbrellas saved the day. We ordered salad, panini, iced coffee, and then finished with a root beer float and espresso affogato. Service was a little bit slow, but they were very busy that... More

We visited Luray and stopped in for a quick bite. The sandwich I had was amazing! I only ate half and as son as we were done at the caverns I ate the rest - it was all I could think about! lol (the caverns were beautiful) but the food was amazing!

We stopped here for a quick lunch after a fabulous morning in Shenandoah National Park. Service was quick, food excellent and everyone was friendly. Special mention for the dog friendliness of the patio at the back - our pups got a puppocino (whipped cream ) with a milk bone in it - they were so excited. It was a hot... More

Visited Luray last weekend and had a delightful lunch at the Gathering Grounds. The Tomato soup is a must. We also had espresso and home made blueberry scone dessert that was great. Very friendly atmosphere.

We ate there or had coffee at least three times during a 4 day stay. Very nostalgic and relaxed atmosphere, servers friendly and accommodating. More healthy selections and interesting choices.

I stopped in here on my first night in Luray upon recommendation of my innkeeper and I'm so glad I did! The cafe itself is so clean, cute and cozy inside! And the menu selection was a lot more varied than I was expecting! I ordered the black bean burger and chose the homemade pasta salad as my side and... More
